I'm a teacher. I get ready at 7am and I'm not home until 5, and I don't have time to touch up, I drink and eat and I go through my day.

I love this stuff, no touch ups, no problems, and it lasts and lasts. The color is beautiful, the finish is great! and my SEVERLY dry, cracked and flaking lips, are not irritated by this at all. It didn't dry out my lips, or crack or flake, even a little. It stayed relatively supple, and moisturized my lips significantly.

It's one of my go-to shades, and I'll be buying more colors for sure, the darks I like better though. This is a great lipstick from Nars, I've never found another matte lipstick that filled my requirements without causing dryness or flaking off after a short while.

I wear this all day and get home and it still looks good. Great stuff, lasts through talking, shouting, coffee, driving, lip licking, and other nonsense through the day without a problem. Top notch stuff! ^^

Beautiful relatively natural color

When I first bought this lip colour I thought it would perhaps be too caramel/brown coloured and then my second fear was that it would be too orange coloured. To my relief, it was neither. It produces an almost natural lip colour that stays matte and beautiful all day.

Perfect Matte Pink!

I love this Nars lipstick! Carthage is the perfect pink. I love lipsticks with a matte finish and this one definitely did it's job. I did notice a tad bit of dryness after a few hours but other than that it was perfect. The pink stayed vibrant all day long! I can't wait to try out different colors!

Luxury at an affordable price

This lipstick is truely a creamy, long wear matte that will not dissapoint. It did not make my lips feel tight, crusty or dry. I am in love with these lipsticks.

I own many hot pink lipsticks but Carthage has to be one of my favorties (only second to Sakura from the Bento Box set). The color goes on smooth, is highly pigmented, and lasts for hours. The only reason I took of half a star it because it does dry my lips out faster than my other lipsticks.

Ummm Mazing

I only use this red lip stick...it has never failed me...ive been wearing lipstick on a daily basis since i was 13 and this is the only one that Last! Beautiful color and stays on for hours !

The perfect FALL lip color

I just purchased this product today! And I love love love it! I love how it's a matte finish and the color is just amazing. I've been on a hunt for a color like this and I finally found one. I'm a very satisfied customer and definitely recommend this color from NARS :)

Nars Pure Matte Lipstick my best red lipstick when I go out. It's extremely long lasting and you dont feel it on ur lips. It's really the best red lipstick. Trust me, I have used all prof and luxury brands and made selection for myself of best lipsticks and Nars is my top 3

I love this Nars lipstick, so much better than my Mac lipsticks. i got this in Carthage (a hot pink color) & i truly cant live without it. Not drying at all. I will buy more! (:
