This powder is a must have for photos and special occasions. It sets the makeup yes, but also creates a soft appearance to the skin. I have noticed some bad or okay reviews on this, it is probably because the application wasn't done right or possibly they used too much. You only need a tiny bit, a little goes a long way. Trust me, I have been in the industry for quite some time, and my makeup forever finishing powder has done me wonders. what are you waiting for?
I have discovered that this is not a bad product at all but works best on more fair skin than tan-dark. I use this only if I know I won't be taking pictures. I am a NC30-35 it leaves a white cast!
I absolutely hate this product. I had seen a lot of bad stuff about it online, but I decided to ignore it and buy the smaller 'deluxe sample' size at Sephora for $15. I shouldn't have wasted my money. The product itself feels really nice, very fine and silky. But in my experience, it feels really gritty on my face. It's not just the makeup I was using, I put it on alone just to see if it still felt that way and it did. It's also really terrible for pictures, as it's a white powder it reflects in the light when the flash hits it. I've heard that the pictures of Eva Longoria online where she has big patches of white powder under her eyes are from this product. I will say that the packaging is nice, and I emptied out this product to put another one in it and use that as a travel setting powder instead.
Love love this product. I use liquid foundation a powder to set that, and then the makeup forever microfinish powder over that for a flawless finish that really fills in any pores. I have very oily skin and this helps set my makeup beautifully and keep it in place.
I have the Beauty to go size of this and I really like it. It doesn't work wonders for me, but it sets my foundation well. It leaves my face looking matte after application and for me I find that it helps smooth out some of the fine lines especially my under eye. I've been using this for about 3 months now and there's still so much product inside the jar! It looks like I barely touched it. I think the beauty to go size is the perfect size since a little bit goes a long way! If you apply too much, it can start looking a little ashy/greyish. I like to use a small duo fiber brush with this product. I will purchase after I finish with my two small jars.
I had never used a setting powder before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Powder seals in makeup and gives it a lasting look without it making you look cake-ish. Powder seals clear and goes on white. I think it is a must have.
This is a must have setting powder. It doesn't create an ashy look like some powders. It is finely milled and sets makeup perfectly without compromising the work that you did. I <3 it!
I personally love this powder. I don't have to use much to cover my entire face. The only peeve I have is that it is a small container, but I guess it evens out since not much product is needed for complete coverage. I love how soft it makes my skin feel. It doesn't give the face a powdery look like some translucent powders can do.
This powder is really good if you are looking for something to keep oil away and you take a lot of photos. I feel like this product makes my face look really nice in photos it defuses light well and is lightweight, It is a little pricey and provides no actually coverage, so if you like you powder to help conceal then you might wanna try the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Naturals.
I heard such amazing things about this powder so when I bought it I was so excited to give it a try...I was so disappointed though. It looked so powdery on my skin and took forever to blend in and then it made my skin look whiter..even when I used barely any. I would never recommend this to anyone.
