One of the top 10 things I can't live without, SERIOUSLY!
This is THE BEST foundation, EVER. I've used Make Up For Ever for about seven years, but I just recently discovered Duo Mat. I layer this over Smashbox's Studio Skin and I don't need concealer. It's like waving a magic wand over your face that leaves behind pure perfection. Strangers stop me on the street and in elevators to compliment me on my "gorgeous" skin. Well, if they only knew how bad I look without the Duo Mat. Even layered over a light liquid foundation it feels weightless on the skin. It has a matte finish without looking powdery and it keeps my skin shine-free all day long. I have very fair, sensitive skin and I can pack this stuff on as much as I want and it never clogs my pores. Now that I've tried Duo Mat I can't imagine using anything else!
Love this foundation....
I have used this for about 3 years, this is a product I will never be without. This matches my skin complexion to the t. No caky feel, goes on smooth, wears well. No complaints!
My HG powder!!
I have tried several powders and foundations lately, and this one wins HANDS DOWN every time!! I have combination/oily skin (esp. in my T-zone) and it is very difficult to find makeup that can stand up to the scorching AZ heat, but this one does! It is pricey, but I feel it is worth is as you can use a light dust as a setting powder, or alone as a powder foundation. Flawless matte finish every time! Will never switch to anything else!
grrreat for summer and humid weather...
I currently reside in Toronto,and we get crazy hot weather sometimes. A few weeks back we hot hit with a ridiculous heat wave and my foundation was melting away and my oily skin wasn't helping. I decided to switch up my makeup routine and began using this product daily. I really like this product for a number of reasons. It is oil free which is great cause i have oily skin, it matte and light weight. Best part about it is that it gives a really natural finish. It evens out the skin without caking it on. It definatley held its own in the hot humid weather as well with the help of my primer and finishing spray. I would recommend this foundation powder for summer and humid weather as well as oily ladies as myself!
MUFE is God.
I normally use Face and Body because I like really light/sheer coverage, and it is my absolute HG foundation, but lately I am just bored with liquid foundation in general. I went in and got color matched and they matched me in 209. It looks lighter in person, but once you get it on a white sponge or a brush, it appears darker. Temptalia's FM says it is equivalent to F&B 18 or 34, which would be dead on as those are the two shades I use throughout the year.
This product, when applied over a moisturized face, gives such natural coverage that can be applied sheer or built up to full coverage with a sponge. I would only recommend this to those with oily skin, or those who moisturize intensively throughout the day. I didn't find it transferred much at all when I set it with Mario Badescu's Facial Spray. The packaging is really sleek and sturdy. My only gripe would be that if you don't use a proper primer, enlarged pores will show through.
I am definitely applying for a civil partnership with this company as soon as possible. <3
Flawless finish
I use this powder almost every day. Not only is it great for turning my HD foundation into the perfect matt finish, but it's also great for touchup's during the day. My t-zone can get REALLY oily throughout the day (especially in the summer), but I just blot a little of this on and I'm good to go. I NEVER leave home without it!!!
OMG!!!
THIS IS MY HG POWDER FOUNDATION! ahh it has done wonders for me! all seasons summer-winter ahhh gives me the best coverage & finish ever!!! it never looks cakey on me & its buildable!! the texture is so silky!! I have dry - combo skin & this works like heaven for me! :)
I went thru 5 of these bad boys & I'm currently on my 6th one!! I will continue to use in my makeup routine whether its a hot summery tinted moisturizer day or a day where I have to use my full coverage routine xD this product from makeup forever is lovelovelove!
My FAVORITE powder foundation thus far!
During the summer, I want something that will help me deal w/ my oily skin... and this is it! It manages to give me a dewey natural finish after setting w/ a setting spray, and lasts a good 6-8 hours. The only thing I dislike about this is that it does transfer... so boyfriend's t-shirts beware!
If you're not super clumsy about forgetting what's on your face, it's pretty good! I learned my lesson the first time I saw foundation on the bf's black shirt and never made the mistake of rubbing my face against his chese ever again! This foundation is too good to waste on his stinkin' black shirt... =P
Does not make my face feel tight or dry like Bare Minerals did... [I tried ALL of their foundation variations and they all made my face feel tight and itchy!] so it was a miracle I found this stuff after trudging through numerous attempts to find a powder makeup that looked good and made me feel good.
A great matte look
Every once in awhile I love rocking a matte face with bright (wait for it...) red lips. No surprise there if you know me. Make Up For Ever's Duo Mat powder is extremely lightweight. I highly recommend this powder (can be useful as foundation when wet... I've not done this (no need). Last but not least, this lasts, well, almost "FOREVER! "
A wonderful matte powder
You know, there are just some days you want to rock matte powder and a super shiny lipstick. I am a huge fan of this line of makeup. I have never moistened the sponge and have only used as a powder. It's full coverage yet very very wearable. Note: does not feel heavy at all. Lastly, it lasts for, well, for ever!
