I have very oily yet dry skin, and I've tried almost every primer in the shop. Smashbox makes me break out so I'd lost hope of finding anything that helped control my oily skin. I love this primer because it really does control my oil throughout the day, but keeps my skin from feeling tight and dry like some other primers I've tried. While I get a little oily by the end of the day, it's nothing a little blotting won't fix and I blame that more on my skin than the product.

I was super excited to try this out...hoping it would be 10x better than Smashbox Light Photofinish Primer. After two weeks of use I noticed that I was still getting super oily and shiny throughout the day especially during work. It does help keep my foundation in place as well, around my nose where I get the most oily my makeup still stayed intact. 2 starts for that. But overall, I'd rather stick to my Smashbox photofinish light.
