this is my favorite product in my makeup collection. I have even using paint pots for 2 years and wouldn't swap for anything else! they keep your eyeshadow vibrant and it stays all day. defiantly recommend it to anyone who want to try. mine lasts about 6-10 months using it everyday! love it!!

Great product to act as a shadow base also fantastic on it's own. Though there is only one problem with this. My eyelids are quite dry, so it sets quite quickly. So I need to spread it quickly and evenly on my eyelids before it sets! but overall it's an awesome product!!

i love my paint pot. it makes my eyeshadows pop and then never fade like they have without using this first. it's a little difficult for me to apply but i have trouble with eye makeup in general. i would be so sad if it was ever discontinued.

I was introduced to this by a friend of mine in Chicago. She actually introduced me to my first Mac products a few years ago. She sent me a few samples of some beautiful pigments and Bare Study, needless to say I bought a full size product of Bare Study later the week I got it. I swear by it. My eyeshadow stays on all day. I can use it alone and put on just eyeliner and look fabulous, like I actually put something on but barley did anything. A wonderful product. If I had to pick between this or any of the other eye primers I've tried this would be my first go to product.

Great!!

This product is easy to apply, blends out nicely, doesn't crease and makes colours pop. I love painterly, it is and i think it always will be my favorite primer-base. I would recommend this to anyone.

My go-to base

Paint Pots are excellent, oil-free cream eye colours that are most used as a base.
It's pretty stiff, but if you take some and work it between your ring fingers to warm it up, it becomes much easier to apply. The Painterly colour neutralizes the eyelid on light to medium skin tones and gives shadow something to stick to. So, eyeshadows appear more vibrant and last all day long

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. My eye makeup lasts forever when i use it.. It also has a soft pretty shimmer to it. I tell all my friends about this stuff.. I SWEAR BY IT!!

ONE AND ONLY

My eye lids get very oily for what ever reason. This is the only thing I've found that works for me. I swear I've tried everything out there. I'm a hair dresser, I work long sifts with no time for touch ups and my eye make up does not budge!!!!!!

Depends what you are looking for

If you are looking for an amazing eyeshadow primer, check out soft ochre, or painterly, or groundwork. This is very sheer but it's a pretty color, great for a very very simple eye look. Also, it can be used alone and is a pretty color by itself. Doesn't hold the eyeshadow as long as the others and has a much different consistency. This was the first paint pot I ever bought and it was totally amazing.......until I got paintery. But still, I always repurchase and use it for my simple "whatever" days lol

Can't live without it!!!

I use this every single day! this is my one and only primer. its a cream and dries to an opaque powder, covering darkness and those little eye lid veins and it will make your eyeshadow stay ALL DAY LONG!
