Versatile Product, But Not A Must In Your Collection
I enjoyed having this product because the smell was great, it's refreshing, it sets your makeup nicely, and it feels hydrating. Now that there are a lot of different finishing sprays to use, it's hard to see if this is a holy grail must have item for me (there just wasn't a "wow" factor). What I do like is that it does distribute a fine mist on your fast, and the mist is very light. This can also be used to intensify your eyeshadows. Just spray your eyeshadow brush, pick up some product, and it will look much more pigmented on the lids.
Love this product so much! Have used it for a very long time now and repurchased. Feels so refreshing and calming on the skin yet setting and makeup with a dewy glow. I love that it takes the powdery look away that you sometimes get if you apply too much loose powder. This just blurs that excess powder and adds the dewiness back in the skin. Will love and buy this product over and over and over again!!
Not a necessity
Fix plus is used a lot by professional makeup artists! I feel it is not needed to have in your makeup collection! instead of using this you can just spray some water on your brush before applying it to the eyes, it has the same effect but it's only a fraction of the cost!
Oh my god. This product is amazing. It I could rate it more than five stars, I totally would. I use it before I apply anything to my face and then also when I'm done I'll spritz my face one more time. I personally wouldn't consider it a traditional setting spray though because it doesn't hold your makeup as long as others. It gives you the prettiest Dewey look and it's just amazing. it's also great when working with pigments and loose powders. I wouldn't recommend it though if you have oily skin. I think it works best on dry to normal skin types
I absolutely love this spray. I use it before I apply my moisturizer, a setting spray or I also apply some to my brush for loose pigments :)
Holy Grail product
I use this for three things; as a setting spray, a skin refresher and as a pigments-spray for eyeshadows. Whatever I use it for, it does it's job amazingly. It keeps my make-up in place and makes my skin feel fresh and refreshed. If I spray it onto my brush before dipping in an eyeshadow, it magnifies the pigmentation and it stays long longer. Mac Fix+ is definitely a Holy Grail product!
Always on hand
I do not use this as a setting spray. I use it for eye shadows and pigments-spray some on your brush and it apply with eye shadow. I normally use it with the bright eye shadows which is rare. I have had this for a year now and it is still 3/4 full.
Do not get this as a setting spray if you have oily skin! I learned that the hard way. What I like to do with it is spray this on my face or my brush before I apply foundation and it helps blend it in so much more easier and flawlessly.
This is not a good product for people with oily skin like me! I spray it on my face and within a few hours my face is shining like no other and it makes me look like I am all sweaty and gross. This is a good product for eyeshadows and pigments; just spray on brush and it works wonders for that and of course people with dry skin!
This product is meant to be both a skin refresher and a setting spray, I have use it more as a setting spray and it works good for me. For primer I like to use thermal water of avene, it really refresh my skin and make it ready for make up.
