New love affair!
These are very fun to play with and apply, and they are highly pigmented if you build them up. One swipe with your finger allows for sheer coverage. I have not been able to apply these with a brush because it doesn't pick up enough product. These are "squishy," a hybrid between cream and powder. Important note: I wore this alone yesterday, for 10+ hours, without a base, and it creased slightly.
Great product, but not enough .
You can use this as a cream base or a color on its own. What I mean about not enough product is if you do go with applying it as an eye shadow you have to pack it on well and it doesn't come with much for $18.50. It's best applied with fingers instead of a brush.
Different...
I was really excited when I saw MAC’s Electric Cool Collection because it reminded me of their Big Bounce shadows that came out in 2011. The only difference is the texture and consistency. Eye shadows from the Electric Cool collection are creamy and spongy. At first I was a little skeptical, but I had a chance to play with them a bit and they are perfect bases! I used a primer underneath and a similar shade to set it. My favorite colors are Dynamo and Fashion Circuit!! Once you start using them and playing with them you’ll notice that it is very pigmented. It also stays on for a long time and it didn’t make my eyes crease.
