A shampoo bar designed for sore, itchy scalps and dandruff.

Rose petals soften the scalp, marigold petals calm redness and lavender oil is antibacterial and also balances the scalp. We mix these together with our solid shampoo base and a good dose of cade oil – the star in this bar. Cade oil is our favourite remedy for sore scalps and we swear by it.

Don’t be afraid, give this bar a try; it will help fight the itching, lift dandruff clean away and put your scalp back on the path to peace and contentment.

The cade oil in here may smell of creosote, but that is because it has natural constituents of creosol, guaiacol, cadinene and terpenes. All of which might sound a bit scary, but in fact it makes this a natural antiseptic and antimicrobial, perfect for treating many skin complaints.

Other products that work well in conjunction with this shampoo bar are Snake Oil scalp bar and Hair Doctor hair treatment.

Yes, it smells but you get used to it

I have scalp issues and resisted getting this shampoo for a long time, instead using New because it smelled better. Finally I had to concede that New didn't help me much and replaced it with S&F. Best shampoo ever! Sometimes the texture of my hair is better if I Don't use conditioner afterwards. The smell is really strong when you hold the bar to your nose but when using it doesn't linger too much. After a while though, I even grew to like the smell.

Fabulous product in smelly form

When you smell this shampoo bar you don't even want to THINK about putting it on your head (it smells gross) BUT, it works fantastic on hair with scalpproblems and the bad smell is replaced by a mild rose scent as you wash it out. Even without a conditioner after washing your hair with this shampoo bar it'll leave your hair soft. It's honestly a great product.
