I can say that you only need the teeny tiniest bit of this stuff to get the job done. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because for the first time, my face did not feel tight afterwards and it is cheap for the amount you get. The one star is for it does help control oil somewhat, but not what I expected. Also, it does not remove makeup very good, so do not expect that when using it. Other than that, it is a very good cleanser for everyday use.

YES!

This is quite similar to the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser by LUSH being that you need to add some water in order to form it into a paste, then apply it to the skin. Compared to the Angels on Bare Skin which is for normal skin types, this cleanser is marketed for more oily/acne prone skin. The sales rep at LUSH told me that this product can reduce oils and shine throughout the day. Since then, I have seen what she means, I don't feel the need to blot as often as I usually do when I use this product.
I also like that this product can be used as both a cleanser and is gentle enough for everyday exfoliation. You can use it for both things, if need be. When you first use it, there's an extreme herby/spice smell to it (hence the name) and for a small container full it costs around $14. Other than that, I fully enjoy this product and have seen the improvement within my skin.
