I like this it is easy to apply and it blends well it was kind of pricey but worth it blending is key when you apply this before putting on the foundation

It does really do what it say under your foundation,,,but without foundation it doesn't really cover all you pores or your blemishes...it kinda pricey for such a small jar..but you can find them on sale..otherwise it works.. dint break me out..

I love love love

This is a great product. I love this product because it gives my makeup (foundation) a completely different look, my makeup is really perfected with this base. The jar is little but a little bit on your fingertip goes a long way. It smells great and feels amazing on my skin. I have oily skin but it keeps my makeup looking great and not caky and doesn’t break me out.

Heavy on the silicone

Not all primers are created equal. I found after purchasing this primer that I am really not a fan of the super silicone primers that have a lot of slip to them. Putting this on my skin just felt like I was wearing a mask. But my foundation did look good.

Does what it says it does!

This stuff is amazing! It's perfect for my combination skin. It glides on smooth and blends easily. People complain about the size but you only need a little bit. I just dip my ring finger in and dab some on my forehead, cheeks, chin, nose and blend it in after applying my moisturizer. It mattifies your skin and makes it smooth for any type of foundation you want to apply. It also lasts all day. I used it on a day I went to Universal Studios where it was hot and I got wet in the face a couple of times and my makeup stayed in place. I will definitely be repurchasing this product again!

I'm very glad that I found this primer simply because it gets the job done for a cheap price & is found virtually at any location. So if I forget my primer on a trip, I know that it's just a drugstore away! It gets the job done by leaving your skin soft, smooth, & silky. Definitely works with my oily/combination skin and have not had a problem with breakouts after using this product (I can be sensitive). However, I do not prefer the texture of it because I have to rub it in more so than my other primers. Also, the jar makes it a little inconvenient because it can get under your nails, etc.

I went out and bought this because I heard so many great reviews on it! I am happy to say I was not dissapointed! I am absolutely loving this product. I have extrememly oily skin :(. My skin tends to get super oily in my "T zone". By applying just a small amount with my ring finger I distribute the product on the most oily parts of my face and it works really great. I work 8 hours shifts and I am face to face with clients, So ofcorse I wana look my best at all times. I hate it when my skin begins to look shiny and oily. I've only been using "Studio Secrets Professional Secret No.1 Magic Perfecting Base" for a week and I love it. The matte finish it's perfect for oily or combination skin, I would highly suggest this product. I am very happy with my purchase. Worth every penny. =)

Leaves the skin so silky I like it the only thing I don't like is the size kind of small and also if you have nails kind of uncomfortable to use on the little glass jar it comes in and it does not work with all foundations.

Great low end primer

This is a great low end drugstore primer. I love it. It goes on so nice and leaves your skin with a great satin/velvet smooth finish. And you dont need to apply alot for it to work. I just apply 5 small dots to my cheeks, forehead, and chin. Something I'll keep repurchasing.

Great for those just starting out with face primers

Something you can pick up at Target, yay!!! Teehee, gotta love my Target items - much less pain for my wallet! I do like the L'Oreal brand, and my mom actually recommended this to me, so for the price I figured I'd try it! I'd never tried a face primer before, so I was curious to see if it would live up to its reputation. It does feel very velvety smooth on the skin - though it can feel thick or heavy depending on application. I don't like how you have to dip your fingers into it to get product out, but that's the clean freak in me coming out. You do get a decent amount of product for the price - it should last a while since you don't use a lot on your face. Plus, you get the added bonus of sales and coupons that you can use, so this product can really be great quality for the price if you time it right! I'd recommend this product for people just trying out face primers or those of us that can't really spend $30+ on a face primer right now.
