It works exactly as it says it does and lasts longer than any other unnatural dye I've used.
I've used the whole array of unnatural dyes and this is by far my favorite. A big part of the reason for that is that it bleaches your hair as it dyes it, since I have dark hair this is a big time/money saver. It's easy to apply and if you accidentally get it on nearby hair you don't mean to dye ... if you don't rub it in you're safe. It's fantastic and it lasts for a long time. I have it in my hair now, I dyed it back in the beginning of June and it still looks surprisingly bright and pretty.
The only down side I can think of is that one time I used it and then used it in the same places 2 or 3 months later and it fried my hair pretty bad. So the lesson there is, use this first to bleach your hair and look great for a while, then don't re-bleach that hair!
I used this when I wanted to dye the underside of my hair red. My hair is naturally very black and the red comes out super bright! You don't need to bleach before use and it comes out red like the box on my black black hair. Only downside is that it really dries out your hair, so make sure to baby your hair after using.

My hair was already bleached; But I wanted to change my look a little bit. The color came out super red & vivid. But, since I have extremely oily hair I have to wash my hair everyday, which oviously played a factor in it washing out so quickly. But yeah, the only disappointing thing is it washed out within a week & looked like a whole lot of miscoloring of orange, dark red, & light red color throughout my hair.
perfect for unbleached black hair
This was the first product i ever dyed my hair with (i've used the purple and the red) and i had good results. I used it on jet black, unbleached hair and i got the exact same results as on the box. The color fades slowly and lasts for maybe a month or six weeks. The dye is thick and doesnt bleed onto parts of the hair that you don't wanna highlight. The "wand" (it's kind of like a really big mascara brush) works well for applying the dye only where you want it. The color doesn't "run" and ruin your pillow nor does it come out when you sweat or anything. this kit is air tight and perfect.
