definitely a great volumizer, but two coats is the max for this one. put any more and it will clump. it doesn't provide any length for me (which is ok, that's not what they marketed it for anyways) so i use one coat of a lengthening mascara and a coat of this and it make my lashes stand out!

clumpy mascara in a bold color

So many mixed reviews on this! I put it on though and had a million and one clumps in my eyes that I immediately washed my eyelashes off directly after. If you wanna try it, go for it and see how your lashes react...but keep your receipt.

Best Drugstore Mascara by far!!

This mascara is worth all the hype. It gives me tons of volume,length and keeps a curl! I can't rave enough about it!! Just for the record i do have pretty full long lashes without mascara so I can't say how this would be for people with short,sparse lashes....

Wet, clumpy, messy

I feel like everything that everyone raves about has the complete opposite effect on me. For me, it's too clumpy. The formula is too wet, so it gets all over my eyelid when I blink. It takes too long to dry. There's better drugstore mascaras, in my opinion. Didn't do much for me as far as volume and length, and I have pretty good lashes.

I love this mascara! This is stuff is definitely my HG mascara, it makes my lashes so long and gorgeous! It does definitely add a little bit of extra volume a well - I love the formula but the best thing is that it seems to really hold a curl after a curl my lashes and my lashes can be so straight. That and it is a true BLACK - as dark as can be.

Thee BEST mascara... handsdown!

This is my favorite all time mascara! the formula really lengthens lashes and the color is the blackest deepest black. I have naturally super long lashes but they are light. When I apply this mascara people ask me if I have false lashes!!!! It's a great product! I recommend this mascara to everyone I know. Note: the waterproof formula does have a different consistency (that I dont prefer). Try the regular formula unless you have a specific reason/purpose for the waterproof version.

AWESOME FULL LASHES!

I own the Waterproof Carbon Black and I got to say it stays on all day...no flakes..great black and FULL lashes & I get no clumps. When I want my lashes to look EXTRA big I apply a coat of this and I'm out the door. Will keep repurchasing, Awesome formula!

My long yet sparse lashes couldn't bear the formula!

I am a fan of loreal's million lashes in waterproof, but the formula in it dries up fast, so I thought I'd try this one NOT in waterproof. The formula is to wet for my lashes. Even curling with the mascara already on my lashes, my poor lashes limp down. I've also tried doing layers, waiting for each layer to semi dry. This helped a bit, I could tell the point where they got the name "building" mascara,because I could tell it looked a bit like I had some volume, BUT, I could've just done that by tightlining my upper lashline. It took me more than a few minutes to apply three to four layers one to get some volume on there, and that was just a waste of time. The brush is too huge for my eye shape, I have mascara smudges on my lids, thank goodness I didn't plan to use it when I had makeup on yet. When it's completely dry it doesn't flake, but it does smudge. Has anyone tried the waterproof version yet? I only have a couple of non waterproof ones, because I like to use them for my tutorials, since it's easy to take off. Please let me know! I'm never going back to regular mascaras again!

Holy grail!

IAM completely obsessed with this mascara!! I've done so many YouTube videos with it and I love the feel, the texture, and the way that it applies to my lashes! It gives such a natural look without even using false lashes! It's so voluminous and it gives great volume! I will be repurchasing again!! :-)

My go to mascara

I've been using this mascara since I was like 19 so forever!! I love the way it leanthens your lashes and creates long lushes lashes. I'm a fan...my eyelashes are soft and not stiff and stay seperated.
