I was a little nervous about trying out this lipstick since some people had told me that Lime Crime lipsticks had a weird texture, were "goopy", and / or didn't last long, particularly the unconventional colors, not to mention the mixed reviews about the Lime Crime brand in general. But when it arrived, I was really pleasantly surprised and my optimism was proved to be correct. Not only did this lipstick apply really smooth and easily, it didn't take much to make the color show up a very opaque light purple. It lasted a while too! I'm definitely happy with this purchase and my satisfaction with Airborne Unicorn has definitely convinced me to purchase more Lime Crime lipsticks in the future! :)

Probably my favourite poppy-esque Red

Despite the mixed opinions and thoughts surrounding Lime Crime,
(both company, the owner and the products) I myself am a huge huge fan.
Retrofuturist and Centrifuschia being my favourites.
Retrofuturist has a great colour tone for a bright red. I would describe it as almost poppy-like as it is quite bright, warm, almost pinkish orange in the undertone. I find it lasts a very long time and I am ridiculously sensitive to scents and additives in lipstick and Lime Crime lipsticks never bother me. (In fact I love the cupcake smell)
The packaging also kicks mighty ass.
I think I own about 3 tubes of this one.

Not as bright as it looks like

It looks nothing like the swatches you find on Lime Crimes website, not as orange at all. But it sure is orange with no red undertones so you'll have to give them that! It doesn't last very long either. Kinda pricey for the poor lasting power..

AH-MAZING!!

All of the lipsticks, however particularly the brighter/darker shades have incredible colour pay off and long lasting wear with minimal smudging! This is the ideal product if you're really wanting to make a statement. I love them! <3

i looooooooove his product its one of the BEST LIPSTICKS IVE USED the only thing is that its not full coverage maybe thats just me but over all great lipstick

Wearable and a knock-out color!

I've heard so many mixed reviews about this brand in general, as well as the quality of their lipsticks.
I am pleased to announce that I am thrilled with the texture, the color payoff and wearability of this lipstick! The vanilla scent is just delightful as well! I was very pleased with this purchase!
I will be purchasing more shades soon!

Poor

I've been wanting this shade forever, so when it came back in stock and was on sale for Black Friday, I knew I just had to purchase it. I own four Lime Crime lipsticks, and this one, out of all of them, is terrible. The color is amazing and it's a show stopper, but when it's on your lips it's extremely chunky and cakey. The only way to make this work is with a lip liner, and even then it's still really nasty. I also have Countess Florescent and Chinchilla and neither one of these needs a liner. I also purchased Serpentina which is okay but looks better with a lip liner.
Over all, I am extremely disappointed with this shade which truly saddens me. I read mixed reviews, but I had hoped they reformulated it when they re-released it. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
With Lime Crime's ridiculous new "seasonal shades", I don't think I will be purchasing from them again. I love LOVE LOVE their eye primer, but since it's been out of stock forever, there is no point in purchasing from them ever again. I think I would rather buy Urban Decay although it's not as good, and for amazing and epic lip colors, I think I will just stick to OCC.

Great color it just looked different in person.

I was so excited to receive the new lip color from Lime Crime but when I put it on it looked a lot different then pictured. The color is not as dark deep and rich. It is more of a fuschia purple-y pink shade. I had to add a dark plum liner to change the color and get my desired look but other than that Lime Crime has always been a company I continue to go back to.
The lipsticks do have need to be reapplied throughout the day but the color, consistency and pigment make it worth it!

Only drawback is you have to reapply often

I love the fun colors of these, but they have one drawback. They are very creamy and even with a base/primer on I find that I have to reapply every so often. I adore the packaging. the staying power needs a little ump but other than that this is a great product. I fell in love with Doe Deere back in highschool and she is actually the reason I started to pursue doing makeup and step outta my box.

Lime crime lipsticks

I have glamour 101 and centrifushia, I am hoping to pick up cosmopop and airborne unicorn soon. I really like the lipstick I have. Centrifushia is a bright fushia which goes on cream and dries down more matte. Glamour 101 is the same but in a deep red. Perfect for a retro red lip. The pigment of these lipsticks is amazing and the staying power is really good due to the mattenis. I don't find them drying but your not going to get the long term creaminess of a mac satin or creme sheen. For me this is a bonus because I'd give up a bit of creamines for staying power as I'd reather not reapply over and over.
