This is a great foundation that photographs nicely. It is quite thick in texture, with med-full coverage. It's great for normal/dry/sensitive skin. The finish I would call a satin..I do set this with a powder.Expensive, but a little goes along way.I recommend this to many of my clients.
I am absolutley 100% satisfied with this foundation. I was doing a lot of researching looking for a new foundation to try for the winter. I had picked up a sample of this foundation a few days ago from sephora and for 4 days I have not been disappointed. It photographs beautifuly ( because theres is not SPF ). Today I went to buy the full size : ) The video reviews that I have seen comparing it to other foundations like dream mousse deffinitly NOT like dream mousse. This foundation Is a gel base foundation in a jar. What can be a 95% dupe is MAC studio sculpt. MAC studio sculpt is a LITTLE bit lighter. If your skin is normal to dry this would work. It is very moisturizing. So people with very oily skin might want to stay away from this.
love the feel and how it looks on my skin, this products is amazing i love it, give a good coverage but still a lovely glow and natural look rather than looking caked in foundation, i love all of laura mercier products
I LOVE this product! It comes on very smoothly, blends easily, and is super moisturizing! It gives you a somewhat 'dewy' look, where your skin looks hydrated, smooth, and flawless. I usually only stick to my one foundation, which is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra because I love the light weight feeling, but I think one of the most important thing about this Laura Mercier Creme Smooth foundation is that it also feels lightweight, but has even more coverage than the Urban Decay one. The Laura Mercier foundation is definitely for those who are looking for medium-heavy coverage, moisturizing base, NO SPF (no shine in photos), but most importantly, a comfortable, long-lasting foundation!
I have very dry skin, especially in the winter months. This foundation is so hydrating and has great coverage, without looking obscene. You're not supposed to use a brush to apply this, so check out my demo! Here's a demo! http://youtu.be/uAHosO_tn7k
I recd a gift card to Sephora this Xmas and knew I wanted to buy something new & fresh. It was between this one and smash box and I am really happy with my choice. (still love smash box) this foundation is thick and the coverage is amazing. A little goes a long way. Worth the $
