Only Like (UPDATE)
I got a sample of this mascara and thought it was pretty solid. The formula was smooth and it did give body and volume to my lashes. I like it for night time because it is bold and gives a slightly dramatic look. The only reason I don't love it is because of the brush. My lashes are short and the bristles are so long I get it on my eyelids sometimes. If I didn't have a sample, I probably wouldn't spend the money. If you have longer lashes then you will probably love this mascara. *UPDATE* Ok, I take it back. I LOVE this mascara! I just love the way it looks and the drama it gives my lashes. I eventually got used to the long bristles on the brush (it's a technique) and now I just love it. I use it every time I go for a night out. If i'm in a hurry I won't use it, but I do actually love this mascara... :)
ive never used a better mascara. its never clumped on my lashes. i fell so in love with it i had to go back and get the water proof one!
It was more for length than volume when I use it. It is actually good for lash separation. No clumps and able to get every lash. Leaves residue though when trying to take out. Not much of a fan for its price and its purpose. Would rather rely on a drugstore brand that can do same purpose.
AMAZING
I've been through so many mascaras and they are typically hit or miss with me. I have long and thick lashes, but this mascara makes them really pop. It's easy to work with and just does what a mascara is supposed to! Worth the money, in my opinion.
i like it very much but when washing it i face a big problem
it wont come off my lashes and to clean it up i have to loose some of my lashes
witch is really big problem and also its very expensive
I used this when I first started using mascara and it was really good, extended my lashes and gave it volume, I thought it was the best thing I had. Now a few years have gone down the line this mascara is only average, and for the price its not that amazing. The product has a curved brush which is helpful, and thats why when I was a beginner I guess it was useful.
favorite mascara so far!
i actually really like this mascara! since i'm asian, my eyelashes are so short and sparse -_- which makes it really hard for me to curl and get volumnized/long lashes. My mom is obsessed with lancome therefore she always gets the gift with purchase and the gift with purchase usually comes with the hypnose drama mascara. i tried it one day and found that the mascara really separated my lashes, lengthened, and volumnized. The mascara did not go on clumpy, therefore you can easily build up the coats of mascara on your lashes. It also separated my lashes very well, even after 3 coats! the brush size of the mascara is perfect for my almond shaped eyes because when i used to use the diorshow mascara, the brush was WAY too big for my lashes, therefore when i'd apply the mascara, the wand would always touch my upper lid and smear excess mascara onto it.
definitely worth giving the hypnose drama a shot!
Not the greatest...
I wanted to get a mascara from Dior, but the counter was surprising sold out of all the black ones. The sales associate recommended I try this one from Lancome. I'm not a huge fan of it. The formula is too wet and heavy for me (I like dry mascaras) and the brush is a weird shape. I find that I have to take a ton of excess mascara off the brush just so it won't go on super clumpy, but even then it makes my lashes stick together way too much.
I just don't get it, lol.
This came in my Lancome GWP during the Macy's sale in August. I have tried this multiple times and even watched videos on YouTube (including one from Michelle Phan who works for Lancome) and I am just not getting it. I know some people love it, but it's not for me personally. I would not purchase this product.
