Kiehl's 'Rare Earth' Pore Refining Tonic

I bought this product for my evening skincare routine because I wanted my pores reduced and refined. I tried applying with a cotton pad or just patting on the face. The result was a pretty weird whitish film on my face that did not do much. I would even go that far as to say that the ''rare earth'' might have clogged my pores. I didn't observe any pore reduction although I have been diligently using it for over a month each night.

I have oily skin not really sensitive but acne prone and I use clinique's #3 toner but I like trying new things so after I saw a couple of youtube videos and read some reviews about this product I decided to purchased it and give it a go.

Unfortunately, this produc just does not work for me. The price is ok, a little pricey for my taste but not too expensive. The scent is fine doesn't really smell like anything. The clear bottle reveals a clay powder at the bottom 1/3 of the bottle that you are supposed to shake until it blends with the liquid before you apply.

After just one use I broke out but I know some people say it gets worse before it gets better but I used it a few times and the break outs did not improve but got worse so I stopped. I went back to my clinique and after about a week the blemishes were gone. Now I have an almost full bottle just sitting there :/
