Incredible

I absolutely adore these palettes. I have obsucura, infinity, and exposure. all of them are very pigmented, buttery, and are worth the investment, I use them both wet and dry and the pigmentation stayed about the same. A light tap of the brush picks up a lot of product without it getting dusty, which for me is a huge plus. I have made many combinations with all of these and they turned out beautifully. The only downside is that they require a primer to hold the shadow in place. Other than that I most certainly recommend.

Isnt worth the hefty price tag

in the pan the shadows look great, however they dont perform as great as they look. dont get me wrong they arent rubbish and definitely still work on the lids however even though i dont have oily eyelids the pigmentation just isnt there when applying the shadows. once you have packed on enough to get the intensity you desire they are effortless to blend however this comes with a downfall, with that effortless comes color bleeding. after a few hours the colours begin to bleed into one another and you know longer know where one starts or ends. i love the portability of the case and the quality of the packing but in my opinion that is not enough to justify the higher price tag.

Surprised this is an Hourglass product

The lightest shade in the palettes barely gives coverage. It's sheer. The other shades have to be dipped and patted into the eyelid or else you will have fallout to deal with and clean up. The metallic shades are gorgeous when applied wet but the metallic shades in both palettes I purchased burned my eyes terribly. These are pretty to look at. I love Hourglass. But the quality does not match the price.

STUNNING, but are ya worth it?

Let me start by saying.. this product is FREAKIN' GORGEOUS! It swatches beautifully and looks incredible in the pan. Now, as a fan of the Hourglass ambient lighting powders & blushes I was hoping this would be another blown-away type of product. Unfortunately I was a bit let down. I found it difficult to blend most of these shades together, while pretty on their own, some of the mattes were a TAD chalky and difficult to work with. If you're a beginner I would recommend one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes instead. The pigmentation was a bit all over the place and just generally hard to work with. I think for the price tag, this was a big miss for me.
