Amazing coverage, matte finished but somehow it made me break out. probably i wont use it too often. kinda expensive for a small bottle tho, but i only need a little amount to the job. it worth since the coverage is SUPER and stay for a long time! it does covered my acne scar and pimples, no need to use concealer anymore. i wish they have pump, a little inconvenient to use

I spent many years looking for a foundation that gives a great medium coverage - but with an extra layer over blemishes - covers them. Double Wear is PERFECT for this!
I do have oily skin, and found most foundations disappeared mid day due to this. But Double Wear controls oil perfectly and does last all day!

Nice but not on my HG List

My skin type is combination oily. There are many people who recommended this product especially for combination to oily skin.

In my opinion, this foundation is pretty hard to blend. It dries very quickly and hard to blend. So, usually, I warm up the product on the back of my hand, dot it on my skin, and blend it using my foundation brush (which is Shiseido Foundation Brush), per section. Once it sets, it will be very hard to blend it again or do something about it.
Oh, under the foundation, I'm using EL Primer, Matte something?

The coverage is medium. This foundation enhance pores and dry patch (if u zoom in ur skin), but without zooming it, nothing looks weird or gross.
This foundation contains SPF, so it will looks somehow white and a little pale on the photos, but I kinda like it sometimes if I combine it with my red colored lipstick.

After 3-4 hours wearing it, I still can see oil and shine on my T-zone. So, I don't know...if it'll be good for a very oily skin. I will not recommend this for dry skin though, probably for normal skin, it will be great.

I want to love this one too...I've already use about an half bottle, so definitely, sometimes, there is something that makes me come back to this foundation.
It's a pretty cheap foundation for an EL product.

Cobertura PERFECTA

Buscando un maquillaje del color más parecido a mi rostro y cuello y que cubriera mucho encontré el Double Wear de Estée Lauder. ME ENCANTA. Cubre todas las imperfecciones y tiene un acabado mate. Nada de brillos. No reseca la piel, ni la vuelve grasa.
Las pegas que le pongo son:
- Hay que aplicarlo más rápido, pues la piel lo absorve pronto y se hace imposible extenderlo.
- El bote no tiene aplicador, por lo que hay que tener cuidado con la cantidad que cogemos.
- El precio está en unos 40€. No es un maquillaje para diario para la mayoría.

Los pros:
- Hay gran variedad de colores.
- Cobertura alta.
- Larga duración.
- Resistente al agua y a los roces.

Amazing!

I have never tried Estee Lauder products before but I've heard good things. I saw a review on this foundation on YouTube and decided to go get a sample since I wasn't liking my current foundations too much and wanted something new. I'm so glad that I tried this! I love it so much and I cant believe how great it matches my skin. I have yellow undertones and the shade that matched me was neutral. It was just a bit pink but you cant even tell. It matches me that much. I also have combination skin and this does a great job of staying matte most of the day. Definitely get a sample if you can! It's worth it!

Great long wearing product

I would recommend this product to anyone! It is very long wearing and feels great on your face. I would say it's medium coverage that doesn't feel heavy at all. I have used so many different foundations but will not be changing again.

Holy grail foundation

Pros: long wearing foundation that helps keep shine at bay. The coloring matches well with my skin type (MAC NC20) wears evenly during the day and is great in the water. It's easily removable with a wipe or make up remover.

Cons: breakouts and the bottle doesn't have a pump

I have had so many foundations over the years, drugstore (Rimmel, Maybelline) to high end (Chanel Pro-Lumiere, YSL) and this one beats them all hands down. I was a little dubious as I hate full coverage, but what I came to realise that it was the foundation that was the problem, not the finish. Double Wear is insanely good. I loves it. I have a tendency to turn red, curse you sensitive skin, but this covers everything, and dare I say it, at times my skin looks flawless. WOO HOO!! Can't recommend it enough.

Although I don't use this foundation anymore, it has been the best foundation I have ever used! This foundation is perfect for oily skin.The coverage is medium however you can always apply another coat for a complete coverage.
After setting it with the double wear powder, you will definitely achieve a matte finish which is perfect for those who have oily skin.
I wore the shade 5W1 Bronze, I definitely will be repurchasing this foundation onmy next trip to America.

Holy Grail Foundation

By far the best foundation I have ever tried. I was about to bite the bullet and buy NARS Sheer Glow in Monte Blanc (I'm a MAC NW15), and am SO happy I tried DW before it! The longevity is just incredible, it literally stays on all day and doesn't even budge, look oily, and it stays matte! The coverage is fantastic, yet can be sheered out with a damp sponge. Shell is a BIT too light for my skin, it is the lightest pink toned (1C1) shade, but combined with my contour and bronzer it's just perfect. I love this foundation and recommend it to everyone!
