Love the shades!
I have "Rock the Boat" (a pale, light blue), "For the Twill of It" (a metallic multicolor sort of shade with green and burgundy), and "Nothing Else Metals" (a light purple chrome). Good, opaque color, you won't need to do 4 coats to get total coverage like you do with some other polishes. Love Essie's lighter shades, for that reason.
Sad day for Essie
As an avid Essie collector I was very disappointed when I saw this beautiful color and very quickly realized that the formula was pretty much terrible. At first I was hopeful that maybe I just got a bad bottle but alas I read other reviews and found that this was no isolated incident. If you're skeptical at all I believe there are some demonstration videos on YouTube that show how clumpy and awful the formula really is. Pacific Blue from Sally Hansen is an excellent dupe, amazing formula as well as about 1/3 the price!!!
One of the best!
Total nail polish addict here and I love essie nail polishes! great colour range, go on smooth and are one of the longest chip free nail polishes I have tried. used with a base coat and top coat im usually chip free for around 7-9 days. without a top coat I would say around 5 days lasting power before the dreaded chips appear!
I love their colors!
this is a overall review. I love essie nail polishes. all of their colors are so pretty. some of the polishes of theirs I've tried i don't like. it can be a little watery at times. but I love essie an I'll always have their polishes. :)
I like all of essies nail polish colors, and coming from someone who is obsessed with nail polish,i think the price for this is too much, $8.00 for one little bottle of nail polish is too much if it was like 2 for 8 or like 2 for 10 that would be fine, but thats just my opinion! Also, i buy like sally hansen- hard as nails polish, does anyone know if thats a good polish?
Love the Brush Size
Essie is one of my favourite nail polish brands. Although a lot of people may disagree I actually love the size of the brush and find them much easier to handle than the larger OPI brushes. I tend to stick with the more opaque creme polishes by Essie. They usually only require 2 coats, have an average drying time and decent durability. Although the sheer colours are pretty, I tend to stay away from them since they require several coats and take a long time to dry (even when using Seche Vite).
My number 1 brand for nail polish
Until recently I have been able to try Essie and I absolutely love it! My very first color is the lady like and I love how elegant the neutralish colors are. My next thing is to try out the Millionnails line because my nails need to grow and get stronger so I can buy more Essie! by the by this stuff drys really fast and that's a huge plus in my book.
