I have pretty good skin, with some dark areas from past acne scars..I wouldn't say this is for that type of coverage. I personally LOVE this product. I use the concealer on days where I just need to lively up my eyes. It's defiantly not what you would want to use if you have a severe blemish, but it's good for the mornings where you could have used an extra 2 hours of sleep. The highlighter is the star in my book when it comes to this "twofer." I use it to brighten up everything! (inner corners of the eyes, top of the cheeks, cupid's bow..why not?) I think application is always key when it comes to make up...it's not going to fix your skin, it's just a great thing to have when you need to touch up or get out the door quickly with minimal effort.
Easy to use, and covers my under eye circles well (they are quite dark, so I'm impressed) without looking cakey (I always use my fingers to apply for a smoother finish) It lasts a long time too- love it! I don't use the highlighter much (I dont really use a highlighter at all...) but it is quite good- very pale and a little shimmery :)
I have a more in depth review here: http://gretalrabbit.blogspot.com/20...
I'm not going to lie, I never used to use concealer around my eyes. But now I use it; I guess it comes with aging and being a mother to get dark circles under my eyes.
I'm a huge ELF fan so I decided to try their Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter. I use the highlighter as a primer for my eye shadows. It definitely brings out my eyes. As for the concealer, it sure does cover up those dark spots.
I'm not too crazy about the applicator on either side. So I just dab some on the areas I need to cover up and then use my finger to gently glide, smoothen and even out both the highlighter and concealer.
Like it!!
This is my everyday concealer now! I use the concealer for under my eyes and any blemishes or breakouts I may have that day. I use the highlighter for under my eyebrows and on the center of my nose so it looks smaller, works great! I definitively recommend this!
the reason I like this concealer is because I do not have darkness under my eyes. I just have a little reddish/purple going on, but so little that this concealer works great for me, so I like having a very thin, light concealer that isn't cakey. I NEVER use the highlighter.
Eh....
The highlighter is ok, the concealer is watery and comes off easily, definately does not last throughout the day, I guess it will work if you don't have really bad dark circles/spots.
I don't think it is worth buying...

Gives a dewy look but not great with coverage
I totally agree with the other girls who have reviewed this product in that the concealer really does not give enough coverage to really tackle problematic areas of the face however I've found that it does give a nice dewy look to the skin if used more in the way of a highlighter.
I got it in Light, which i believe is one shade lighter than my normal skin tone simply because I really do like that under eye bright look (but without being too light bulb luminous of course) and again, as I and the other girls have said, the concealer part just seems to disappear rather than blend in.
I find the product on both sections extremely watered down to the point that when Im blending it into my skin, Im often wondering whether any of it is "sticking" or whether im just wiping it off and it's absorbing into my brush.
Finger application was worse because I swear that most of it just absorbed into my finegrs on application.
However...I really do like to use the highlighter on my brow bone and on the inner corners of my eyes. There is no great shimmer to the product and so the highlighter just gives a white-ish tint to the skin, making it a little more luminous in the areas applied.
The staying power isn't great..I've found that it's usually all dispersed by midday, and usually if I apply my HD powder over the top the effects of both ends of the product are depleted.
However the price is super affordable, and if you havn't particularly got really noticable dark circles or problematic areas to conceal then this isn't a bad little "fixer-upper" for on the go...But I'm sure spending that little bit more or experimenting with other drug store brands is the way to go for more impact.
All the bestest! x
Concealer part:
This doesn't conceal any of green veins under my eyes, but what I noticed is that it brightens my under eyes which I love. "Hello freshness!" Lol.
I use the shade glow/ fair.
For reference I use nc30 on MAC's studio finish concealer and the lightest shade (glow/fair) is the best for my under eye.
Highlighter:
I don't use this. I find this part not much of a use for it doesn't give you that glow for a highlight.

At least this was only $3.........
The concealer formula is SUPER light weight, and doesnt QUITE conceal, the formula of it is nice and smooth, just not enough coverage.....
The highlighter doesnt even give a shimmer, so its useless
