Ummmmm

I got this from the Large Get the Look Dramatic eye set. This mascara isn't really waterproof as it smeared as i went into the pool to test it out. It did sting my eyes and the black ran down my face and scared my nephews. I don't expect mascaras to give my short, fine lashes any kind of definition or curl. I just want my lashes to look black and so that you can see it. For my purposes it works. For people who want curl and definition, you will hate this product. This is not one of my favorite products and i would invest in the studio mascaras instead. I love the studio mascaras a lot better. Overall, I would recommend this product to people who just want their lashes black but if you want more than just pass this item by, not worth it.

in a word, cheap

I tried this, loving most of e.l.f.'s products, but it is honestly just terrible. It clumps and just doesn't work with my eyelashes at all. It's probably the worst e.l.f. product I have ever purchased

You get what you pay for.

I bought this on a whim as a cheap and waterproof mascara for the summertime when I needed to get ready quickly. Cheap, indeed. It clumped pretty badly when I tried to apply a few coats to my lashes but I couldn't get too upset when I only paid a dollar for it. I love so many elf products...just not this one.

nothing special

it doesn't give any volume or the length i want and it clumps really easily especially the non waterproof side. It doesn't hold the curl much so i really don't see the point of this mascara at all.

Guess you get what you paid for.

i loved it the first few days, now i just like it. i got to use the waterproof side for a few times before it got clumpy, i loved how it made my lashes look. so changed over to the regular side to run away from the clumpy(ness) and it was whatever can't say i hate it nor love it. i've been using this side for about a 2 months now and it finally start to show signs of clumping. In addition, last night the tube just broke on me and now i can't close it. But hey its a dollar, ill still keep buying it! lol

Okay but dries out quickly

The waterproof mascara was the better of the two. However both have issues with clumping. I didn't notice it lengthening or volumizing my lashes when I used it. Better off using another mascara.

I only give this 2-1/2 stars & I would purchase this again because it's so.... basic. The only reason I would repurchase this is because it's $1 - It doesn't clump, it doesn't thicken & it doesn't lengthen (much) - it just coats. It's ok for a natural look and just want your lashes coated.
I have long lashes already so basic black lashes don't bug me.
It's not my MAIN mascara, but it's good for those "just in case" reasons.

It was clumpy. For the past 3 years I was using the new formula of this mascara, it lengthened my eyelashes and gave it a lift. I wouldn't complain about it because it was okay to me.

Not the best at all

I really didn't like this mascara, it dries up, leaves your lashes looking clumpy, no lift absolutely nothing! I'm not mad because it was really cheap, but definately not worth the time or the aggrevation...
