More liquidy consitancy but does what it says!
I cant complain much with this baby. It keeps my eyeshadows there, vibrant, and without creasing. I think the Urban Decay primer does a better job for me keeping my eyeshadows even more vibrant however. But this primer is $1 and keeps creasing away. I can't get over that. I cant decide if I prefer this more liquid consistency or UD's creamier consistency.
Its good for the regular eyeshadows. My cream shadow creases with or without this. It's still pretty good. My friend recommended it. I don't need to use primer for my eyeshadows. It's good if you wanna put some eyshadow under your lashline, it'll stay out throughout the day.
Great for the price
You really can't beat the price. It helps my eye shadow last through out the day with out creasing. I love wearing this alone to make my eyes pop.
One Dollar Crazy!
I think this is the perfect primer for someone who isn't as invested in makeup as us junkies. I mean it's $1, and it works pretty well. The application is not my favorite, as it's very slimey and greasy, and it gives no coverage to the eye. I hardly ever use this primer, as I prefer UDPP in Eden, but I did like it when I was first getting into makeup.
Brilliant for the price!
This primer is $1 USD and it is totally worth all 100 pennies. It doesn't have the same staying power or pigment enhancement that UD Primer Potion and TF Shadow Insurance but it's also cheaper, more accessible and works just fine once you figure out how to operate it. It does take a bit more practice than the much more straightforward higher end brands but if you stick with it you can make it work just as well.
Not very impressed
This primer I bought because of the price. It works, in terms of application, similarly to the Urban Decay's Primer Potion, however for me it wasn't as effective. I have very oily lids especially when its hot. This particular primer didn't have my color stay on as long as it would with UDPP. I now use this as my emergency primer until I have time to purchase another UD Primer Potion.
Just as good as Urban Decay Primer Potion!
In my opinion, this primer is excellent! Works just as well as my UDPP, and that's $1 vs $18!!! The consistency is the same, smooth and blendable, creating a perfect canvas for your eyeshadow. My eyeshadow NEVER creases when I use this primer and I highly recommend it!
It's not my number one choice.
This primer is only a dollar which is a cheap price for a primer, however, it's not the best primer out there. I don't have oily eyelids or anything so it goes on with no problem, its just not lasting. plus when i use it with drugstore products, I can't tell if it's the shadows that arent that dark or the primer. either way, its not the best buy. good thing it's only a dollar... but I would save each dollar & buy Urban Decay or another brand name instead of 20 of these.
Great Eye Primer! I love it!
Most people would have the notion that affordable eye primers such as this one would not be as good as either Mac's Prep+Prime or the Urban Decay Primer potion simply because of its price. However, the E.L.F Eye Primer is really a dupe for the two other expensive products because not only does it make your eye shadow color stand out, but it really does also help it to last longer too. Another good thing about it is that if you have worn it for more than three hours or so, you can see that the eye shadow has not creased at all and the colors are still very vibrant. Hence, this is really a very recommendable product to use especially for a night out or so because it'll really help a lot in bringing out your eye makeup. Moreover, it is very affordable and of good quality! :)
