can i just say....
Every mascara I've tried from them is fantastic because of their wands. None of their mascaras clump on me. I have used five of their mascaras. They were the first kinds of mascara I've tried and I haven't bought any other brand because there's just no use in experimenting when this brand already does everything I want.
Cover Girl mascaras I've tried:
Lashblast, Lashblast Fusion, Lash Blast Lengthening, Lash Exact, and Exact Eyelights Waterproof.
I am going to try the Lashblast Clump Crusher next.
It works great for volume and it holds a curl nicely but it's really messy i always seem to get some on my lid or inner corner and for me the wand picks up a bit too much product for my liking it also takes forever to get of with makeup remover overall its good but could be better
- doesn't clump
- holds curl
- doesn't flake/smudge
- gives volume
- product is dry
Comments: I like this, but I find myself going through the tube very quickly. The formula is too dry. I find myself adding a lot of Visine to keept the formula wet.
LashBlast is so popular in the makeup community, it's almost redundant to write a review on it. But I digress; the original LashBlast is designed to simply volumize the lashes-it doesn't promise much else. Simple claims, simple standards to meet. And while I wasn't awestruck by the volume the mascara gave me, it did it's job well, and wore nonstop for over 12 hours, looking flawless by the time I removed it.
The shade I got was "brown," which is a little misleading. On the lashes, it does not look brown at all, but more of a rich, soft black. I did not have problems with the brush, because I have larger eyes, but I imagine people with smaller eyes may find the length of the wand annoying to use. The spikes on the wand are good at separating the lashes and loading on color.
It's cheap ($9 USD) and works well for what it intends to do. Personally, I like to use it best as a base to use a lengthening mascara over top of it. On it's own, it does well enough, but unfortunately it's nothing impressive.

Great Mascara :)
This Mascara is great in my opinion, it gives a natural subtle look, which is great for school and beginners :) the short bristles don't grab on to the lashes that much, so it doesn't lengthen the lashes that much. But it does add a bit of volume. I would rate it 7.5/10 :)
This mascara used to be my favorite. I stopped using it because I really wanted to switch to waterproof only and I didn't like their waterproof formula. This is still a great non-waterproof mascara. It's volumizing and you can easily comb out clumps and keep coating. I like my lashes to look full and thick and this does the trick after a few applications. I highly recommend this one for a budget mascara.
This is definitely my holy grail mascara because it does everything a mascara is supposed to. It darkens, lengthens, separates, and volumizes my lashes without clumping or giving me spider lashes. It literally coats every single one of my lashes, even the tiny ones that you may not have noticed exist at first if you have some lighter/finer lashes like I do. I've been asked on more than one occasion if I was wearing false eyelashes after applying this mascara, and since I wear thicker winged eyeliner on a daily basis, having my lashes stand out used to be a challenge.
I've repurchased this mascara several times and I've noticed two quirky things about it that might not make it right for absolutely everyone: I like the product best once I'm about 1/2 way through the tube because at this point it doesn't overload your brush with product which means you don't have to scrape off excess before using, and due to the size of the brush to get the lashes in my inner corners I have to turn the brush vertically to avoid getting any mascara on the skin by my tear duct/on my nose. Otherwise use is a breeze as long as you know when to stop applying.
This mascara's brush is the secret. The brush is the reason why I get absolutely perfect lashes every single time I put this mascara on. I swear, I feel like I could take on the world in this mascara lol. I've bought this one over four times because I like it that much (I kid you not).
