So this skin care line was not what i expected it would be! i absolutely love this cosmetic line its great for those who have supper sensitive, dry,oily, acne prone skin, and even rosasia.

Lee Graff the founder of CoverFX teamed up with Dr. Neil Shear and Jenny Frankel to create a makeup line that was safe for her clients with burns, discoloration, etc since she was unsuccessful with finding one she created CoverFX which is now dermatologist #1 cosmetic line...

SO my story is that i have dry, sensitive, irritated skin and coverFX really and truly is the first product i tried that hasn't broken me out, irritated my skin, and this product actually kept my skin moisturized and lasted an entire day! I absolutely love this product and I highly recommend it! if you have any of these skin problems this foundation is for you!

i am IN LOVE with this foundation. i have rosacea and mild eczema on my face so my skin is normally very red and irritating. After a consultation with the cosmetologist (also at shoppers drugmart) told me that CoverFX products were make specially for people with really sensitive and irritated skin (she also told me they were made for burnvictims aw well,) we gave it a try. I was so suprised and almost started crying in the store because i couldn't believe the results. This is a water base foundation, and is the only foundation i have use that doesn't burn and irritate my skin. I started using E10 when i was very fair. Now i use E30, but i will be getting a darker shade soon as i also tan. it blends wonderfully. i will never use any other foundation than this.
i have also tried their Bronze FX, brush cleaner, kabuki brush, foundation brush, Setting FX, and one of their lipsticks. AMAZING PRODUCTS!!

pros:
good for super sensitive skin
blends easily
stays!! i never have to reapply
doesn't clog my pores
shades are spot on!
has a nice "dewy" effect, but not oily or greasy

cons:
price. i usually spend about 30-40 dollars on a tube. mind you it lasts a few months, i use it everyday. but it is a little steep, but still WELL WORTH THE PRICE. :)

I picked this up at Shopper's Drugmart on the weekend after talking with a cosmetologist. She suggested it and we tested it out on my face in the store. I'm still not sure if this is the right shade, but she said I can take it back so we'll see how it goes (I always feel like the lights in there aren't "real life" lights and I'll walk out with my face 10 shades lighter than my neck--ugh). I like that it is water based and I've been using a tiny bit plus a powder. It does keep me looking dewy and it lasts all day!

I have been using this foundation for exactly a year now and I honestly have to say, I love it.. A LOT! I remember when I first bought it, it made my face absolutely spotless and very natural. You don't need much of the product on your face because it covers up a lot. Before I wanted to use the other makeup products at the drug stores (I bought this at my drug store by the way) and they told me that it wasn't good for your face because it can easily breakout your skin and what not, so they recommended this for me. I never really broke out using this product, but it was always useful.

I love the fact that it can be layered depending on what coverage YOU want!
My secret I add a tad bit of water if I just want super light over coverage.

I love this foundation! I'm not sure if its my exact shade (E30) but it definitely works - and blends amazing! I'm always looking for a new "better" foundation (aren't we all?) and I have been extremely impressed with this one! Ever since my great experience with CoverFX's MatteFX Primer, I have been accruing multiple items by them! This foundation is great for every skin type (I am oily and it wears and looks great on me) and I've heard others say it is also amazing for dry skins! This foundation also gives such an amazing finish - dewey & radiant without any greasy/oily look. And don't even get me started on the wear! I wear this all day with a lot of face touching (exam time I'm stressed) and it is still all there at the end! Definitely try this one out if you are looking for great coverage and great wear with a gorgeous finish! :)
