Great brush for lining and connecting upper & lower lid lines

I couldn't figure out what this was for, but it has turned out to be very helpful for blending lines, and avoiding the down turning at the corners. It also seems helpful for softening eyelines without removing them entirely.

TOP KNOTCH CREASE BRUSH!!!!!!!!

I'm a pro mua and have followed Billy B since the early 90's. His makeup looks are ICONIC!!! I always wondered how he achieved such crisp creases and neat smokey looks... well here's the answer!!! There is NO OTHER BRUSH like this! I use both paint brushes and makeup brushes and this little gem is really a great marriage of both. Its got the precision of a paint brush with the softness and angled cut of a makeup brush. I purchased 2 for myself but may purchase a few more for my kit. I will NEVER do my eyes without this brush!

Perfect for my brows

Well Wayne said it wouldn't work for brows but it does. I wanted a brush not too fine to make harh filled in areas but needed the angle to be steady on my angles. I read other reviews needing a color for my dark brn-blk hair and yes! With the brow powder from Anastasia I can use the two color little dark browns to mix and fill in areas where I have no hairs and my tattoo permanent make up brows need touching up. I don't have brows that need little hairs drawn but a fill and create and shape brush. This is it

Pleasantly surprised

I purchased this after seeing a review using this brush for down turned eyes. I have this issue and this brush is perfect for lining and bringing up a line to make my eyes appear longer and upturned, if that make sense. It is soft and does not irritate the delicate eye areas at all. When I first received it I questioned if I had made a mistake because of its odd shape. I have yet to see another one like it. Now I use this brush everyday and just love it. The quality and price make it well worth the purchase.

A Defined Smoky Eye(?)

Yes, my title makes no damn sense.

Need a precise, sharp line for your winged liner? This is not the brush you're looking for. I docked a star for that because I bought it under the assumption that I could do that.

Do you need a multitasking brush for your smoky eye look? THIS is the brush you're looking for. It will lay down that thick line of color as a base. Wiggle the Twelve brush for a quickly blended, elegant smoky look.

The Twelve brush is also your answer if you also want a brow brush. You can get a lot of fill on your eyebrows or you need to blend to shades for an ombre eyebrow look.

Odd-shaped brush, but it works!

I already knew from previous reviews that this is an odd little brush. It looks like a small angled brush, but the hairs are longer, not as dense nor as stiff as an angled brush. It does work absolutely perfectly at smudging and lining -- much better than other smudging brushes and pencil brushes that I have -- it takes less effort and pressure. I haven't really tried it for anything else, but I imagine that it would also be really good for brows and a very precise crease application. It takes a bit of a leap of faith to purchase this odd little brush, but it really does work very well, and chances are that you don't have anything like this in your collection.

Wonderful, The best ever!

This was my first BillyB purchase along with seven. I wasn't sure what to expect...well after trying various options I know i have found a brush...and brush line...that is simply great! Simple in the smaller size, just fits perfectly for application yet so easy to handle. Great in versatility. I am doing best eye look ever, clean, neat and attractive and I never was that good before... This is quality of design, construction and performance. My work has been world wide in Quality and after examining, testing, I consider this brush of highest quality...not just meeting expectations but going beyond, giving me real pleasure in its use and results. II have since ordered other brushes and eye curler. Thank you Billy....since in process of recovering from muscle disorder and inability to walk, I decided to do "looks" rehab along with PT. Looking better helps one feel better. I did a great deal of research and began to recognize the importance of the tools as well as methods and product. I was drawn to Billy's reviews plus his discussions. He made sense. His brushes make me look and feel more polished ..again thanks for developing and thank you Beautylish for offering ...your site is also quite valuable!

Odd little brush

When I pulled it out of the package, my first thought was, 'What an odd brush.' It is unlike any brush I own, and I own hundreds of brushes. The bristles are relatively firm and dense, and the length of the bristles are very intriguing for the particular shape and cut of brush.

This little brush is so multi-functional: You can use it for a super defined crease, to soften and blend and to pack a load of color in a concentrated area. My favorite use for this brush? Hands down, lining. I concur with Wayne G's review; with this brush, connecting the lower eyelid with the upper eyelid is quick and easy. Out of all of Billy's brushes, this one is my absolute favorite.

Up and coming legendary

When Billy B first gave me this brush a few years ago I was worried I would not be able to get the precision that I get from a firmer brush. once I started using it I realized the flexibility of the brush allows for more perfect application whether I am trying for a smudgier, smokier application or something more lined and refined. This is an ideal brush for gel or cream liner and I love it for powder product around the eyes or even as a concealer brush. Pairing this with Billy B's lip brush allows you to create and contour the perfect mouth without hard lines and I love for applying concealer or luminizer around the lip line to make lips look larger. This is a makeup artists must have and I am so happy to see it back here on Beautylish.

What a strange little brush!

I wasn't sure about this brush. Its strange. Its too long, too soft and your first thought is "this isn't gonna work for eyebrows". Then you use it for eye lining and for lining and connecting under the eye and saddening you're like "AMAZING". It connects the lower eyelid with the upper eyelid so beautifully.
