About Me

While in middle school and high school and even college, I wasn't into makeup. I would use foundation and some lipstick every so often but eyeliner, mascara, makeup brushes, etc was foreign to me. I guess you can say I was scared because I didn't know how to use a lot of products so I simply avoided it altogether.

One day I was looking at photos of me and some friends and saw how washed out I looked compared to them. That's when it hit me... I need to get serious about this stuff!

During school years, I would just snatch whatever lipstick my sister used which happened to be "Fetish" by Mac... and that was the only lipstick I'd buy because that was all I knew of. Ever since my sis moved away there was no choice but to stand on my own... I ended up just going without wearing any makeup for awhile and then a friend of mine introduced me to Laura Mercier products but honestly I was blindly making purchases. Well now that I'm out of school, graduated from college and a working lady...Thanks to several beauty gurus, I've been less scared and more excited about trying out new products and experimenting with both drug store and high end products. Finally I'm able to make educated decisions and finally I'm getting the hang of this whole makeup thing.

Yes. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to makeup, fashion and beauty but I'm loving this ongoing journey.

I've been into photography, drawing, and cooking for a while since I was a teen and now makeup has been another outlet for creativity.
