Mac Glitter & Ice Snow Season

I feel like every year MAC puts out mineralized eyeshadows and every year I'm tempted to buy one. Finally when the Glitter & Ice collection came out, I took the jump. About mineralized eyeshadows in general: I love looking at them in the pan because they look like little planets :) While they are really pretty in the pan, I’m not the biggest fan of them swatched. Even the one I have I feel like I have to wet my brush to use. I mostly use it in conjuction with other colors and almost never alone because unfortunately it fades rather quickly.

Awsome

I recently recieved this eyeshadow in a MyGlam Bag. I love it! It's greatly pigmented and a gorgeous golden khaki olive-y color. This is the only The Balm product I have tried and I would love to try more

Great Loose Shadow

I never thought I would enjoy using a loose shadow. For me, it seemed far too messy and too much work. These little guys proved me wrong. For one, they are amazingly pigmented and they are surprisingly easy to work with. They will last me FOREVER because you barely need any to get a great amount of color. Obviously, because they are loose (if you use them dry) there will be some fallout but all you have to do to correct that is wet the brush first.

Better than Naked 1

As much as I love the first Naked palette, I love this one better! I have experimented with different looks from my Naked 2 palette for over two weeks now and am convinced that this is the winner, hands down. You guys have done such a fantastic job describing the the colors, so I won't go into detail about color descriptions except to say that my favorite color in the whole palette is YDK with Verve running a close second. Blackout is the truest, fiercest black e/s I have ever seen! I really like the double sided e/s brush that comes with it and the tin case that it comes in better than the felt case in the first palette. I also like the larger mirror in this palette compared to the first one. I don't really care for the lip gloss that is included and would rather have a mini primer potion instead. I also wish that a different color would have taken the place of Half Baked since it is in Naked 1 palette. The different e/s looks with this palette are endless! Buy it. You won't regret it!

My Go-To Palette

The reason why this palette is so popular and loved is clearly because all these colours are so wearable from night to day. The colours are pigmented and the shimmery ones are absolutely gorgeous and not too overpowering at all. You can create so many different looks with this palette, from intense night time looks to natural and flirty day looks. It goes well with any complexion and any eye color, I am in loooooveee with this palette. The only thing I don't like about it is the packaging because of the velvety exterior, seems kind of unsanitary but whatever it isn't a huge deal. I recommend any makeup geeks to grab this palette, definitely worth the $50.

What is up with this packaging?

First off, let me say i bought this discounted on Hautelook. It has some gorgeous neutral shades in it as well as some beautiful brights. For the price I bought it, It was a great deal to get the UDPP & a mascara & eyeliner & the eyeshadow all together. I really don't think I would have bought it for the full price. Let me just have my little rant on the packaging...BOO. I hate it. It's bulky & the speakers are a weird thing to have in an eyeshadow palette.

If you like NARS blushes, this is for you.

Considering that NARS blushes are the best I've ever used, I purchased this without hesitation from Sephora. The palette features six of NARS' permanent powders with .12 oz of product each. Full size NARS blushes are .16 oz, so you are getting 75% of a full size blush... certainly a good amount! I think the shade selection for this palette is pretty fantastic. You get a highlighter and bronzer, then four different blush shades. I like that it has a variety: something plum, something bright, an everyday pink. My only complaint is I don't feel it was necessary to have both Orgasm and Super Orgasm in the palette. They are pretty much the exact same shade, except Super Orgasm has tons of glitter (which I'm not a fan of).

I'm really not sure

I find this eyeshadow a bit of a mystery. I personally don't like it all that much because of the previously mentioned glitteryness, and also because it looks a bit too orange on me. But on the odd occasions when I do wear it I get compliments galore... weird.

Very Tempting

LOVE this colour! I'm really into bronze and gold looks so this is a must for me. Tempting is a light, shimmery bronzey gold colour. It's not your typical bronze colour because it is more on the lighter golden brown side than a rich deeper bronze but it's gorgeous all the same. You can use it as a medium tone in a dark bronze eye or as an all over wash for a neutral, day time pop of brown with some pretty shimmer.

Very Beautiful

Neutral with a bit of a kick - for me it is a hybrid olive-gold-brown shade with gold shimmer that is beautiful in the pan and translates most beautifully onto the lid. Patina is one of those really amazing colors that is so incredibly versatile: all over the lid on its own, a crease color, a surprise on the lower lid, this eyeshadow brings out the multi-dimensional facets of blue eyes and is subtle enough for every day.
