Looove these!
Selected shades: poem, india, princess
I recently found these at my local beauty supply store and I am so glad I picked these up. They are so creamy, pigmented, and moisturizing. The color selection is pretty good, too. If you love pinks - they definitely have some very gorgeous shades to choose from. I also like the packaging, as well - very cute!
Poem is a bright barbie pink - very Nicki Minaj. If you like Maybelline's Fuchsia Fever, then this one is for you! India is a gorgeous, bright pastel peachy pink. I didn't think I would like it, but it really is a very pretty shade. Princess is a bright bubble gum pink and looks even better with a gloss on top.
Been using this for years
This is such a great quality foundation- it gives amazing coverage and stays put. It has pretty good oil control, so I only have to touch up once throughout the day. I like to apply this with a stippling brush for a flawless application. It is a little thick and will dry fast, so a primer is definitely a must. I do find the finish a little too matte, but that's nothing that a mist of water can't fix.
Great glosses
Selected shades: beautiful (sheer light pink), beige (medium pink), gold pink (light rosy pink), la la (bubble gum pink), natural (peachy nude), nude peach (peachy pink), nude pink (nude pink), salsa (baby pink), sweet heart (beige pink)
Pros
- creamy
- not sticky
- moisturizing
- great color selection
Cons
- strong scent
- hard to find in stores
Comments
These are great glosses with great color selection. They aren't sticky at all, offer some very pigmented shades, and last a while (especially if you apply a couple of coats).
Doesn't work well on oily skin
I like this foundation, but not for my skin type. If my skin becomes less oily in the future, then I will definitely be repurchasing this. The coverage is sheer to medium and absolutely flawless. I found it best applied with a damp sponge in order get better coverage and make it last longer. It really gives an airbrushed look; masking pores. If buffed in with a brush, it can make your skin look very dry and too matte, so use a damp sponge! It also has a tendency to "ball up" on your face if you use too much - a little goes a long way, so use sparingly and add more later if needed.
No coverage
This stuff didn't do anything to hide my dark circles. The formula is very thin and watery. The only thing I did like was that it didn't settle into my fine lines. This is a very natural-looking concealer - it pretty much looked like I wasn't wearing anything at all, which would be fine...if it offered at least some coverage.
Great staying power
Selected shades: darling (bright medium pink), enchantress (shimmery barbie pink), heavenly (medium coral pink), temptress (watermelon pink)
Pros
- pigmented
- long-lasting
- creamy
- glide on effortlessly
Cons
- stains the lips
- not very moisturizing
- scent/taste
Comments: These are highly pigmented and creamy, but not moisturizing. They also stain the lips, which is a con for me. I also hate the way they smell/taste. The color selection is great and I'm happy with the ones I own, except Enchantress is too frosty (but looks beautiful mixed with other lipsticks). It's better to apply these over a concealer to prevent staining and keep the color true to itself.
Great coverage, but...
this stuff really settles into fine lines. I absolutely loved the coverage and it really brightened up my under eye area. I applied this in various ways and I could not prevent this stuff from creasing. The creasing was just too obvious too ignore, so I had to return it. Aside from the good coverage, I really didn't think it was worth the price.
