SHADE: pink punch (bubble gum pink)
PROS
- pigmented
- SPF
- add shine
CONS
- not moisturizing
- poor staying power
COMMENTS
I wasn't expecting this to be very moisturizing, so I do wear this like a lipstick. Pink Punch is pretty pigmented and gives the perfect shade of pink, but works even better paired with a gloss on top. Doing this will add moisture and longevity to it, so as long as I do that it's a win for me.
PROS
- no flaking/smudging/clumping
- defines/separates
- holds curl
- gives volume
CONS
- could use a little more volume
COMMENTS
Great mascara. I had no issues with it flaking or smudging and it holds a curl all day. The formula is not too watery or dry - just right. It really defines my lashes and the volume is natural-looking, which is a pro and a con. I prefer that false lash effect, but this one does a pretty good job with just two coats. I'll definitely be repurchasing.
Selected shade: baby blossom
PROS
- moisturizing
- pigmented
- not sticky
CONS
- sheers out once it "melts" into the lips
COMMENTS
This is a great baby pink. It has a very thick and creamy consistency with no stickiness at all. The color does tend to sheer out a bit once it settles into the lips, but there's still quite a bit of color. I love the way it feels on my lips - has that cushion feel to it.
Selected shades: coralberry (coral pink), pink in the afternoon (peachy pink), primrose (barbie pink), wink for pink (bubble gum pink w/shimmer)
Pros
- pigmented
- creamy
- moisturizing
- Pink in the Afternoon & Primrose are long-lasting
Cons
- Wink for Pink has poor staying power
- Wink for Pink is a little sheer
Comments
I love these lipsticks! I can't believe it took me so long to get into them, though. Coralberry is a very flattering coral with pink undertones. Pink in the Afternoon is my favorite - a bright creamy pink with coral/peach undertones. Primrose is a nice barbie pink and Wink for Pink is a sheer, shimmery bubble gum pink. These lipsticks wear well and glide on with ease.
Selected shades: pink pout (barbie pink), sky pink (bubble gum pink)
Pros
- pigmented
- creamy
- long-lasting
Cons
- drying
Comments
I never wear these matte, but I like these because of the pigmentation and staying power. Pink Pout is a very cool-toned pink, but works great when paired with a pink gloss. Sky Pink is the perfect, yellow-based pink.
Selected shades: crystal lilac (blue-based baby pink), hot pink (magenta), peony (peach)
Pros
- not sticky
- Crystal Lilac offers good pigmentation and staying power
Cons
- Peony and Hot Pink felt gritty
- Peony was too sheer and had poor staying power
- Hot Pink was too glittery
Comments
As you can tell, I didn't care for "peony" and "hot pink", but I really love "crystal lilac". It's very pretty! It's your basic baby pink gloss, until you're in the light and see the purple shimmer it has (which makes it more blue-based). It looks great alone or over any pink or nude lipsticks.
Selected shades: dollhouse pink 967 (barbie pink), just peachy 903C (peachy pink), mauve outta here 907C (purple pink), pinkerbell 968 (coral pink), rose bud 904B (rosy pink), think pink 901B (bubble gum pink)
Pros
- pigmented
- opaque
- long-lasting
Cons
- drying
- packaging (tube wiggles around and sometimes won't scroll down)
Comments
These lipsticks are so pigmented and have great staying power. I find that these are best applied with very minimal amount of lip balm, otherwise it can apply streaky and unevenly. The finish isn't so flat, though - it's more of a semi-matte finish. Rose Bud would flatter every skin tone, it's a warm neutral shade of pink. Mauve Outta Here is a little on the bright side with purple undertones, while having just enough pink to it to make it wearable. Just Peachy is incredibly flattering and is a lovely nude shade with both pink/peach undertones. Think Pink is a very mod-looking light pink. Dollhouse Pink is your "pink friday" kind of color - a very in-your-face bright, cool-toned pink. Pinkerbell is a bright flamingo pink with coral undertones, your dupe for Viva Glam Nicki.
Selected shades: dolly pink (barbie pink), rose (bubble gum pink)
Pros
- pigmented
- long-lasting
- works great as a lipstick
- great color selection
Cons
- drying
Comments
I love wearing these as lipsticks - they stay on so well. They have a great color selection, too. My favorite one is "rose" - a bright bubble gum pink.
Selected shades: 525D (magenta), 511B (fuchsia)
Pros
- pigmented
- creamy
- long-lasting
Cons
- drying
Comments
These lipsticks are incredibly pigmented and the formula is great for the price. I didn't care for "525D" because it was too purple for my liking. "511B" is gorgeous, but I wouldn't repurchase because it isn't something I wear often. It's a very bright fuchsia, pretty much neon on my lips (and a little too '80s). I love the lipsticks themselves, but not so much the colors I chose.
