Nan M.'s (kungsuayjung) Beauty Product Reviews
Very pretty!
I bought this a few weeks ago and I have to say, the colors are very pretty. I like that you can go natural during the day with this palette, and it won't look overdone. And for night time, this palette has just the right color combination to really make your eyes glimmer and play with the soft yellow lights at night if you were going to dinner or for a drink. It's not too dominant but just right for a soft natural glow at night :) I would def. recommend this!
So Many!
I bought this back during Christmas time just to say that I owned some lip glazes from Stila since everyone was raving about "Kitten"
Turns out, Kitten was not all that great and for some reason a lot of the colors made my lips dark. I like them over my lipstick to just add some shine, but other than that they seem like pretty normal lip glosses to me. With this many though, I have yet to finish even one and its been over 6 months!
Bold Colors!
This was one of the first palettes I ever bought. It was back when I was in college and just starting out with my make up collection. What I was looking for was bold colors and this palette had just that. Plus, there's many to choose from. Green, purple, gold, and some neutral shimmery colors. The colors are very vibrant and pigmented even without primer. To this day, I still use this palette every now and then. Although my make up collection and palettes have increased! :))
SO BEAUTIFUL!
My husband bought this for me while he was in Seoul, because they were sold out everywhere in the US and I couldn't get my hands on these. This is probably my most cherished make up palette ever. The colors are pastel and shimmery...it adds just the right amount of sheen for a delicate look.
I love everything about this! It's too bad this is a limited edition, because I hate to have to find it if I run out.
Convenient to have!
Here's what I love about it:
-Convenient, all-in-one palette to take with you on a trip, or your daily beauty bag
-Easy to use for neutral makeup, but also for touch up after work for happy hour
-Has brush with it, that's always good
-Huge mirror
-many colors to choose from
-Mini lipgloss
What I don't like about it:
-Too much hype about this product. I didn't think there's anything special about it.
-A little pricey for me, but I can understand that you do get 12 colors and a brush.
Overall, I think this is a nice addition to your makeup bag or for travel if you love neutral colors. These colors work well as a base, or an all over wash on your lids, and you can build them to intensify for smoked out looks.
Very convenient!
I didn't think there was anything special about this palette, other than that it's very convenient to have for travel, and if you want some good neutral colors in your make up collection. I didn't buy it when it first came out, but I did pick this up at IMATS for $30. I thought that if I were to ever own it, now is the time. I also bought the NAKED2 at the same time.
Overall, the quality is very good, the colors stay put even without a primer. There's a lot of hype to it, and I really think that's why it's so popular. In addition, it's like you're all-in-one everyday, easy to carry around palette that you can use for neutral during the day, and smokey at night.
BEST BRUSH EVER!
OMG! I bought this earlier this year in January 2012. It's one of my "swear by" products. The brush is actually 3 prong and "fork" like. It's plastic though, so it's gentle and not rough on your lashes.
I've never seen a mascara formula so rich and creamy as this one. It's definitely a wet formula but not messy. I use it to do touch up after applying my falsies, but this mascara works the best for lower lashes. And this is because of the brush. It's so easy to manipulate while you build on layers. Any beginner would enjoy this because it's so easy to use.
I bought this while I was in Thailand for 1,200 Baht, and that translate to around $37.50 USD. It's the most expensive mascara I own, but it's worth it. I've never experienced another mascara that come close to this. This truly is unique.
SO PRETTY!
My husband bought this for me when he was in Seoul. I actually told him to get me the purple one because I fell in love with purple blushes recently, and I'm a huge fan of Anna Sui's makeup. Everything is so carefully designed. From the packaging to the product itself.
Besides that, it's really good quality and you can use this as eyeshadow. Best if used with a primer though. But as blush, you can just use it on top of your daily base make up routine.
The cost of this product was okay. We paid $37 for it. I don't think it was outrageous, I thought it would be more actually. It is a higher end brand, and you get for what you pay for. And I'm happy paying all $37 for this :))
It's worth it for someone that likes to get out of their comfort zone. Everyone uses pinks and corals, but not many use purple. I do recommend this for fair skin ladies though, because it would look sweet and pastel like. It won't show up much on tan skin.
