Beauty Product Reviews

so great

I seriously can't get enough of this cream. I absolutely adore the way it smells. It's so thick and luxurious, and so inexpensive! I currently have the giant glass 13.5 oz jar, and I'm so glad I got it. It'll last me forever.

I use my Nivea Creme for literally everything - as a hand cream, moisturizer, and even on my legs after I shave. Buying the big jar was really one of the best investments I've made, and it was only $6 at Target!

love the buffing brush

I picked this kit up at Ulta the other day and I'm so glad I did. The buffing brush absolutely deserves all the hype it gets. It blends foundation flawlessly and it's so soft and easy to use. The contour brush is really the perfect size for contour (at least on my face). The foundation brush is really quite small, but I find that it's the perfect shape and size for putting an eyeshadow base all over the lid. And finally, the detailer brush is great for lipstick and spot checks with concealer.

It's so awesome that they are such high quality. I don't want to say "they're great quality for the price", because I think that even if they were twice the price, they'd still be worth it.

i love the mint

I'm kind of shocked to see that this product gets so many mixed reviews!

I like these lip balms. They packaging is cute, and the product works. I've gone through 2 spheres of the mint flavor and I really like it. It moisturizes my lips and I've never found the product to be drying at all, like some people have said.

Although, this product isn't anything special. It's just a lip balm in cute packaging. It works, but it's just your regular lip balm. Nothing to rave about, and nothing to complain about. It just does the job!

I bought Boho Chic in hopes to find a really good every day blush that I could also use as a nude pink lip color. I had previously bought the shade Hot Pink and was so impressed with the pigmentation, so I thought Boho Chic would be up to par.

When I got home, I swatched it and it was very sheer color, but it provides a very pretty natural flush to the cheeks. There is a little shimmer to the color, but on the skin it's not noticeable at all. On the lips, it's very sheer as well but still very pretty.

The color is pretty identical to MAC's Creme Cup lipstick (when swatched next to each other, Creme Cup is slightly a little more browny), so if you want that color but don't want to spend the $15 on the lipstick, I definitely recommend Boho Chic. It's 1/3 of the price and can also be used on the cheeks.

This blush is really awesome because you can actually use it as a cream blush and as a lip color! In my opinion, the texture is very similar to a lipgloss rather than a cream blush, but I kind of like that! It's very moisturizing, very pigmented, and easy to blend.

I totally recommend this product

this cream works wonders

I recently found my new favorite use of this cream: sunburn relief!

I burn pretty easily. I went to the river yesterday and got a pretty bad burn. My shoulders, chest, and arms got really red! The aloe vera gel I had was old and didn't work so well, so I turned to this moisturizer as a quick fix until I could get more aloe vera. Slathered a few good layers on my skin, went to bed, and woke up today with absolutely no redness and no pain! It was a miracle, considering it takes me about a week and a half to fully recover from sunburns!

I'm completely amazed!

fantastic

I have 1 (the gold) and 15 (the dark gunmetal-y color). They are both so incredible! The applicator is pretty good, very easy to get a precise line. The color payoff is phenomenal! I would have to say that the gold is my favorite, though. It's just so opaque and lovely!

Also, the staying power of these liners is great. Very waterproof, won't come off unless you WANT it to - though I find them still easy to remove. What I do to remove them is just soak my eyes with warm water and gently rub. The product seems to kind of ball up and easily removed.

so far so good!

I really like this foundation so far! I'm new to the Revlon foundation line, but so far I'm a fan of this product! I do have oily skin, however, my go-to foundation is the NARS Sheer Glow. I bought this foundation a few weeks ago, when I noticed I was coming toward the end of my Sheer Glow...and I was REALLY impressed!

It gives great coverage, and it sets pretty matte, which I love. And, as a bonus, I found that I didn't have to powder, which I REALLY love!

The only thing I'm not to crazy about is the scent. I remember using the Colorstay Concealer when I was in high school, and I hated the smell. It was really strong. This foundation has the same smell, but I don't notice it as much when it's on the skin.

Overall, I really love this foundation, but the reason I just can't give it 5 stars is because of the smell. If Revlon ever comes out with a fragrance free version, that will DEFINITELY get all 5 stars!

I recently bought Lady Danger, which is a matte finish. I was a little worried that it would be drying, but it's not at all! It's so long-lasting and creamy, and it's the perfect orangey red. And of course, I absolutely love the smell/taste of MAC lipsticks.

I'd definitely repurchase this!

amazing!

I absolutely LOVE this foundation! It matches my skin tone perfectly and the coverage is definitely buildable. I have combination-oily skin, and this product is great. Hasn't caused me to break out or anything. Leaves my skin looking dewy, not oily. I do sometimes set it with my MAC MSFNatural in Medium.

Overall, I'm in LOVE!
