Beauty Product Reviews

PERFECT for Combination-Oily Skin Types!

This moisturizer has worked miracles for me. When I bought it, I didn't expect the results I've gotten out of such a cheap, drugstore product.

It’s oil-free, absorbs oil with a mineral+ complex, and has the added benefits of an SPF 15. Clean & Clear also makes a cleanser that pairs with this moisturizer for extra oil-control power!

There is no added fragrance but, it smells almost floraly. So, that’s a plus. Smells good without the added fragrance ingredients. The consistency is very smooth and velvety. Absorbs right into your skin!

I’ve been using this for the past month and have noticed a great difference in my skin throughout the day. Usually I notice oil and shine in my t-zone by midday and have to run to the bathroom for a touch-up. Not with this!

I’ve noticed less oil/shine, moisture where it’s needed, smoother make-up application, and less powder and foundation touch ups! No complaints at all.

Great for During The Day!

I absolutely love this powder for setting light foundation or tinted moisturizer during the day. I wouldn't recommend it for a night look if you wear heavier make up for nights out.

It does have decent shine control but, doesn't last all day. Up to 5 hours is a accurate advertisement. I love the Transparent powder! It takes the oilyness and shine away from your face but doesn't leave you completely matte so you still have a dewy look.

Very Smooth Pigment

Oh, I just love these. This is proof that there ARE drugstore frosts/pigments that are just as smooth, sharp, and even as any high end make up frosts/pigments. I noticed that in the description above that it says there are healthy concerns for people with combination skin. I have combination skin and have absolutely no problem out of these at all. You can swipe it on easily for a sheer frosty look or pack it on for dramatic shimmery eyes. Absolutely beautiful!

I was in a pinch for a new bronzer towards the middle of this summer and ran into the drugstore and grabbed this along with the Baked Blush in Corallina. The Baked Blushes I am a HUGE advocate of. I'm in love with them but, this bronzer I wouldn't recommend if you are used to using a matte. It is very shimmery and has peachy undertones. I've mostly been using it for my chest on nights out. If you were to use it for contouring I would suggest using it wet rather than dry.

No need for lip stick!

Oh Gosh. These liners are one of the main reasons why I love Rimmel. Like Rosie said (below), they are beautiful matte lip colors and glide on very smooth. They are very creamy and intense enough to wear with no lip stick needed. I wear this on my lips and add some chapstick and I'm out the door with a sexy nude lip.

IN LOVE!

I bought one of these duos about 4 months ago in 060 Break Up and it has been great for me! After I used Break Up once I went back to the store and got two more. I will warn you, if you aren't into shimmer or frost shadows then stay away from these. They aren't very pigmented when applying with a brush but, if you use your finger or dampen the brush they are a breeze to apply and blend. Long lasting, no creasing, and stays vibrant all day.

Great Drug Store Highlight

I bought this single shadow in Morning Light when I ran out of MAC's White Frost. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a multi-purpose highlight for both brows and cheekbones. It can be applied dry or wet and has a bit of shimmer so, it's wonderful for brow highlighting.

Great for the lady on-the-go.

I love using these quads in neutral colors for everyday looks when I'm in a rush. The smokey eyes collection is amazing. Great for beginners seeing as it has instructions and a diagram on the back showing where to apply the shadow. The only problem that I've had with them is fall out but, that's easily fixed with some loose powder.

Stays on all day! High pigmentation!

I'm in love with these blushes. They are drug store cheap and a great dupe for MAC's mineralized blushes. A little goes a long way! I made the mistake of swirling my brush and applying the first time I used it and had clown cheeks. I guess that means it will last me awhile if I quit using it everyday!

Drugstore Cheap, MAC quality?!

Can anyone say drugstore cheap, MAC quality? These babies are low cost and high pigment. All Jessie's Girl's products range from .99 cents to $8.99. I've been using the eye dusts all week in the colors: Penny Arcade, Majestic Green, Kiwi Rose, Angelic, and Hi-Ho Silver. Ready for the perk?! Most of their products can he used as dual products. For instance, these pigments in a light shimmer could be used as a highlight on the cheekbones. Wish I had these when I started doing make up!
