Halle R.'s (halledee) Beauty Product Reviews
Smooth and long-lasting.
I've used a few face primers (MUFE, Smashbox) but I like this one the best with my Bare Minerals foundation. It makes my skin smooth and matte, and my foundation applies flawlessly. I really love this stuff, and I can't live without it. Only downside is that it's expensive, and it comes in a small package. But it lasts a long time, so it's pretty good.
My usual foundation, but it cakes on dry skin.
I mostly love this foundation. It's a good color, I can get whatever coverage I want without it being cakey, and it looks good with any makeup look. Unfortunately, I have combination skin, so when I get dry patches, this foundation does tend to cake up on them, and make them worse. Overall, I love this and I have been using it for years. I use it on top of BE's Prime Time primer, and it is amazing (when my skin is not dry).
Liked it, a little heavy with not a lot of coverage?
I usually use Bare Minerals, but I wanted to try this for a heavier coverage. I have acne prone skin, so I was worried that this would break me out, but it didn't. It's a little weird though, because it feels a bit heavy on the skin, but I had to pack it on to get heavy coverage. It's good when my skin is clear, so I use it then, but when I'm having dry days I stay away from it. I liked it, but it gets a bit cakey after a while. I'll still use it, but I probably wouldn't buy again.
Love these, they last forever, and come out awesome.
I have this in Glam Rock (silver) and Mullet (green). I use them all the time, and they come out so glittery and perfect. They stay on all day, and create gorgeous looks on top of shadow and alone. My favorite glitter liner ever. I've had them for about a year and a half, and only now are they starting to separate.
Lots of variety, too much chunky glitter, though.
I have this in Twice Baked, S&M, and Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. I love the first two, but Midnight Cowboy Rides Again is way to glittery. And I love glitter, but the chunky silver just never stays on, and falls all over my face. It's too bad because the color itself is very pretty. Other than that, S&M is one of my favorite silvers, it's perfect for a smokey look and blends beautifully. I'm wearing Twice Baked in my profile pic, and I love it also.
Love the colors and the pigmentation!
I love the UD deluxe shadows, so I had to have this palette. Peace is my all time favorite eye shadow, so that was even more reason to buy. I use Shag all the time for a pretty bronzey look, and all of the other colors are gorgeous. The only one I could live without is Graffiti, which is very pretty but it's not as pigmented and takes a lot of work to use.
Lasts forever, great colors!
I have used this product in Zero and Electric, and they are probably my favorite liners EVER! They can be smudged for a smokey look, you can line your eyes for a bold look, and they can be used as a base for other shadows. The only problem that I have with these awesome liners is the price, a little expensive.
Nice formula, don't like the brush.
I like this mascara for a more natural look. It creates pretty, full lashes that are very black. The only thing that I don't like it the brush, while it's good for a natural look, if you try to get very dramatic, the wand can't comb through the lashes and it gets a little clumpy.
Amazing! But the packaging is stupid.
This is the only primer I've ever used, so I can't compare it with anything, but I see no reason to try anything else, because this is amazing. I like the consistency, I like that it conceals any veins on my eyelids, my eyeshadow never creases, and colors appear more vibrant. The wand is annoying, though, and the bottle is cute but not very practical. When I run out, I want to buy the professional tube.
