About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom of a 2-year-old, I'm also a photographer/fetish model who is a total amateur when it comes to nail art, hair, hair cutting & styling, but I still very much enjoy it and I apply it to my photo shoots all the time. My goal is to show other moms out there who have absolutely NO time on their hands that they too can look cute once in a while because I went for WAY too long neglecting my looks. I had no style to my hair, it was a mousy brown with no substance whatsoever, I didn't care what I looked like when I left the house. I was so wrapped up in my son! Now I know that I CAN take some time out for myself and not feel selfish about it because when mommy does something to make herself happier and more confident, mommy becomes a BETTER mommy :) My husband always loved me the way I was, but the change has had him on me like gangbusters which is rare as parents of a young child! haha. I just want to pass along tips on inexpensive, fast, easy ways to stay beautified because I've tried so many products. Some wildly-expensive, some middle-range expensive, some average, some cheaper, and some of the CHEAPEST. I can definitely tell you what NOT to do, and a few things I can tell you what to do.

From photography to hair styling, I just want to help people who might feel too silly asking these awesome stylists on here how to do it! And as a photographer I'm used to giving people a totally-honest opinion so if you ever want honesty about your look without someone being a total b*tch about it, I'm your girl! I've had to do a lot to make people look good and in the end there are a lot of simple ways to do it. I still learn something new every day!

FAQ

What's the most annoying thing girls do these days in professional photos that you have to shut down?
A: I say about 100 times during a session "close your mouth! Great!" Because these days girls and women alike are so used to seeing the cover of magazines with a woman whose mouth is half-open, which is highly-suggestive, but not always appropriate for the kind of shot needed. Even if it is for a sexy shoot, you can't have every photo with your mouth open!

Then there's the OPPOSITE problem: "Untense your mouth, please." When girls aren't able to duckface or open-mouth their way into a photo, they don't know what to do so they close their mouth and it turns into a pursed lip, causing unflattering lines. If a photographer suggests that, just open your mouth, move it around a little bit, then close it again. Works like a charm!

"Tilt your head back up!" Again, women are used to seeing women in magazines seductively tilt their heads down to make their eyes seem more dramatic, which it does because it makes the eyes look BIGGER, but it's not always needed for a shot. Try tilting your head back and looking down. It will slim your nose and look just as seductive.
