Beauty Product Reviews

I'm surprised to see such a high score for these. Maybe I'm just using them wrong, but I find them to be greatly lacking in pigmentation and a general pain-in-the-tush to work with. One of the ones I own legit never dried down. Like, I put one thin coat on and, 2 hours later, I could still smudge the polish around because it was still gooey. The only one I have and like is a glittery, top coat type polish.

Good overall

Revlon definitely has one of the better nail polishes at the cheaper end of the spectrum. There's a fairly wide variety of colors, and I generally get decent wear out of them. I do, however, avoid the deeper purples as they tend to be far sheerer than I would like. But for 4 bucks or less, I can't really complain.

Spectacular!

I own two of these - Apollo and Electra - but I intend to buy more. I find the staying power to be just fine (and I have a tendency to "eat" lipsticks), and the lipsticks themselves are creamy without feeling heavy. Electra is my go-to red lipstick and I always get tons of compliments on it.

Holy moly

Inglot was a brand I had heard some about but not really seen in action. In July, my BFF and I were in Vegas and stumbled upon the store in Caesar's Palace. You would have thought I had found Paradise.

These eyeshadows are ridiculous, in the good way. The pigmentation is unreal and, had I won any money in Vegas, I would have bought one of everything.

Bless the geniuses at MAC for this

I have some pretty spectacular dark circles, and this actually makes me look like a human being instead of a zombie. It also does a great job of covering up any breakouts. The pot looks tiny, but I've been using it for ages and there's still tons left.
