Did you use a base or primer for your lids?

Yes, I always use a primer! For loose eyeshadows, I use Too Faced Shadow insurance first and then Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy. For pressed eyeshadows, like in this look, I used Naked Cosmetics Eye Shadow Primer. :-)
