how do u get ur lines straight like that? do u cut tape and put them on ur nails b4 painting them?

Sometimes I use tape and sometimes I just use a striping brush. For this one I used tape though. Look for nail art striping tape on ebay it's much easier than using scotch tape and it's super cheap too.
