Beauty Product Reviews

I have Tidal Rave. It is gorgeous...but I really only bought it for a base for teals and blues. I've used it a couple of times. I have oily lids, so I always use a primer first and then eyeshadow over it and I think it works great for an e/s base. I probably won't purchase it again, because I don't think I'll ever get through it all!

I have moonbeam and it is a black based dark green, that when applied wet is gorgeous!!! I got mine on sale at Sephora. I doubt I would've actually gotten it if it wasn't on sale, even though it is super pretty. I didn't get the color that I wanted when trying to use it dry, but that wasn't a huge deal. It has white swirled through it and it gives a fun twist to the color. I would say, if you see these anywhere on sale, grab em up!

I can't give a review about the lash growth yet (I will review it on my blog after 2 weeks of use) but I can tell you that the liner itself is really impressive! It's super easy to use and you can get a really fine point, so it's great if you wing your eyeliner. It is a glossy black, which I do like but I would like a matte black option. It really is water resistant and it does not budge...it takes some scrubbing to get it off. I am really liking this product! I've been using it for a week now and have taken picture of my lashes at the first day of use and I took some at the 1 week mark. I am excited to see if my lashes are growing hehe. Definitley a good buy.

I use this when I want to straighten my hair. I have thick, naturally curly hair and this tames my frizz and gives the hold I need to keep my hair straight. It smells delicious and you don't need alot of the product. It also doesn't weight my hair down at all. The bottle was around $30, but I've had it for what seems like forever. It is definitely worth the money!

A++

I absolutely love these glosses. They are SO not sticky at ALL...which is awesome and they last longer than any lipgloss that I've tried. They are moisturizing, no strong smell or taste and aren't overly shimmery. Giggle is a perfect nude, especially if you're in a hurry! They are silky and just lovely on the lips! I can't find anything that I don't love about these glosses.

Fantastic must-have brush!

What was life like before the 217 brush?! I LOVE this brush. I bought this brush and the 239 and they were my first MAC brushes. I use this for my crease and also for blending. I don't have a problem getting the white bristles clean, I use MAC brush cleaner and if I put a dab of it in my hand and sort of swipe it around all of the color will come out and they reshape and dry just like new! I have backups of this brush and the 239 :)

LOVE!

I really love this product!! It is perfect for setting my liquid foundation and absorbing oil. My skin gets oily throughout the day and it's awesome for refreshing my makeup as well. This is definitely my favorite powder! I have the Careblend powder and I do like that...but after I get oily...I can't use it because it will change the color of my makeup. This is a must have product for me!

I think Greek Holiday is my favorite! Super Orgasm, Striptease, Chihuahua and Turkish Delight are all close seconds! Super Orgasm does leave shimmer behind on your lips after it wears off...but it doesn't bother me. I do go through this stuff pretty quickly though. It won't stop me from buying them!

What I love about this foundation is that you can really still see my skin...even if I apply extra in certain areas. It doesn't look like I'm wearing a bunch of makeup. It doesn't break me out and it blends flawlessly and effortless and I even use my fingers! I do wish it lasted longer though!

These are AMAZING! I love MAC lipsticks....but I saw a blogger raving about these and I decided to try one out. I bought Delish...which is a peachy nude...and I fell in love lol. They last all day and they don't dry your lips out or get all cakey and flakey looking. They have excellent pigmentation and it leaves me with more money to spend on other expensive makeup haha. I ended up buying Darling, Siren (bright fushcia-this one does have some shimmer, so it's not my fave) and Fairytale, which is a gorgeous bright pinky coraly color...it really reminds me of MAC Impassioned. These are SO worth the price. Especially if you want to try out some bright colors.
