Going light is really harmful for your hair, but if you really have your heart set on it, you need to bleach your hair first. And that doesn't mean using developer, that means hard core powder bleach that strips the natural color (keratin) from your hair. You should leave that in for half an hour or so. Check on it every five minutes till it gets close to this shade. Maybe a little lighter. Then hurry and wash it out. If it's not quite the right color, use some dye that's similar to the color that you want. But the bleach should get the job done itself. I have to admit, bleaching is hard to do right. I suggest going to a salon, or even a local beauty school, and having them do it. You're more likely to get good results. Unless you're licensed, then it shouldn't be too hard. lol I'm not licensed, so I never go lighter. Except during the summer, and I get bleach highlights...But I don't do those myself. :P Hope I helped!
