Ignore the "this product is too harsh" comments. It's too harsh if you scrub it in too harsh. The granules are large, therefore less pressure is needed when scrubbing. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't bother it when used properly. I recommend using it at night or after a good workout so even if you do scrub too hard, no one will care your face is somewhat red. If it's too harsh even when using it gently, three to four times a week as the package says, there is a "gentle" version in a slightly smaller bottle for slightly more. In regards to dryness, use either a cream wash after, a wonderful moisturiser, or both.

Don't listen to the directions....

If you remember to shave at the end of your shower, this product works perfectly. However, the directions say to use a full pump no matter what you're shaving. Now, I know my hair is thin everywhere, but I don't think most people would need a full pump; it's practically falling out of your hands when you do that. A little goes a long way. And honestly, I hardly ever have to moisturize afterwards!

As people have said, this product does sit on your lips. However, if you do take the time to rub it in, it does work amazingly well. It's not the type of lip balm you swipe on and go but it is worth the extra time. I don't like most lip balms because they're too greasy or waxy but this one hardly is at all. Admittedly, it's packaging is awkward for carrying; just stick it in your purse until you need it and it won't fall out of your hands when you are using it.
