Beauty Product Reviews

Great for traveling...

Love the variety of colors, as you can create both daytime and nighttime looks with this palette. I especially loved the pink blush and the lip gloss in the middle. My only complaints would be that the dust from the blush and bronzer get on the lip gloss and I wish I could purchase the lip gloss individually. (Translucent Nude).

My new favorite tinted moisturizer

Check out my video review I did on this product. It really moisturizes your face and has added benefits, like SPF, light reflecting pigments that give your skin a glow and it is oil free. Four shades to choose from and you can wear it alone for a sheer coverage or under makeup as a primer.

Favorite Mineral Powder to date....

A small jar came in my November @birchbox and I was hesitant to try it, since I'm not a big fan of powder foundations, as with most powder foundations by the end of the day, my face usually looks like it is melting off or if I touch my face I end up with a finger print on it. Ughh. But to my surprise, this powder is amazing. It goes on very light, but has very good coverage and stayed matte throughout the day. I also received several comments about how good my makeup looked. The @colorescience powder also minimizes pores perfectly and gives a super soft sheen. Needless to say, I ordered a larger size to start using in my daily routine.

NOTE: The one I tested was 30 SPF....beautylish only has the 50 SPF listed.

I love most all Benefit products, but this one is by far one of my favorite. I use it as a highlighter and/or to help brighten under eyes. Blends well under or over makeup.

The smell was the best part....

I received a sample of it from birchbox. I really didn't notice much difference in my hair, except that it took longer to blow dry. But the smell was absolutely delightful.

My favorite make-up remover ever. This can be used on all types of skin, without being irritating. Does not burn eyes and it removes make-up with much ease. It will leave a little oily residue on the skin but that can be easily wiped off with a tissue. This is by far the best make-up remover I have come across.

Blue Magic.

This is a toner for men and women. I would not suggest using it everyday on your face....as I was introduced to it over 10 years ago for razor burn on legs. I have not been without a bottle since...and I'm only on bottle three. As I do not use it but once in a while. If you use moisturizing lotion on your legs, make sure to put your lotion on first, because after you use this astringent, it is nearly impossible to rub lotion in right away.

5 Stars!!

By far my favorite lotion. There are two package designs to the body butter, the one pictured above and also the squeeze tube. I prefer the squeeze tube, as it is a little thinner. Moisturizes very well, fragrance free and non-greasy.

Happily Surprised.

This was my first order with e.l.f. and at three dollars per blush, I ordered them all. I was more than surprised at how highly pigmented each color is and how smoothly they apply to skin. My favorite swatch is the "Fuschia Fusion". It is a bit glittery, but the perfect amount for some occasions. The "Candid Coral" swatch has a great glow. It is not too bronzy, like a lot of gold products. My third favorite is the "Gotta Glow". I use this as a highlighter on lighter olive skin tones. I would highly recommend these blushes to anyone, especially for the price.
