Beautylish was founded in February 2010 with the goal of improving the way that everyone discovers and learns about the beauty products that they use everyday. Vu Nguyen, Co-founder
Vu helped build much of the site in the beginning, but now also spends much of his time in its business affairs. He was a cofounder of Crunchyroll, bringing popular anime shows online. Prior to that, he helped millions of people with their boredom at HOT or NOT.

Nils Johnson, Co-founder
Nils spends most of his time getting the word out about Beautylish. He started his career at Bergdorf Goodman, selling for Calvin Klein. From the world of fashion, he went on to finance at Deutsche Bank. From there, he went on to found an international telecom company, Gorilla Mobile. He gets bored easily.

Sameer Iyengar, Co-founder
Sameer leads the engineering team that built everything you see today. He comes to Beautylish from Google where he worked on bringing music, movie, and TV content to YouTube. Prior to that, he was building medical sensor networks at UC Berkeley and anti-missile defense systems at Lockheed Martin. He enjoys a good burrito and anything mango flavored.

Ning Chao, Beauty Director
Ning is a beauty addict/product guinea pig who is in charge of editorial content for the site. She comes from a magazine background and was most recently the Senior Beauty Editor at Marie Claire. Prior to that, she was climbing the masthead at In Style, Elle, Vogue, and Glamour. Ning has an encyclopedic knowledge of beauty and likes to share her skin care advice, but full disclosure, she is not actually a dermatologist.

Tara Lamont-Djite, Associate Beauty Editor
Tara is our New York beauty writer that can't get enough of the latest beauty news, trends and beauty products. Finding out the next best thing in beauty while wearing a great pair of shoes is her mission. She has a background in journalism and magazines and was most recently at InStyle magazine and wrote for Fashionista.com. Prior to that she was at InStyle Australia.
Favorite Beauty Product: YSL Touche Éclat
Victoria Stanell, Associate Product Editor
Victoria researches and writes about the latest and greatest in the beauty industry. Although she's been obsessed with makeup ever since she can remember, she recently comes to Beautylish with a design degree (don't tell her you like Comic Sans, it'll break her heart). A product enthusiast with an eye for color, she can tell you the difference between peachy champagne and champagne-y peach. (Trust us, there's a difference.)
Favorite Beauty Product: Eyeliner & Sunscreen
Jasmine Pansoy, Community Manager
Just graduating from college in graphic design, Jasmine is a makeup guru and an overall tutorial addict who started playing with makeup in front of a camera on youtube. With an affinity for bright color, you might find this community manager with a dramatic hot pink cut-crease look or a purple streak in her hair.
Favorite Beauty Product: Waterproof Liquid Eyelilner
Diane Wellman, Lead UX Engineer
Diane is a designer/engineer who is in charge of the graphics and user interface of the site. She started in design by coloring outside of the lines in her first coloring book and has never looked back. She comes to Beautylish from Boston where she trudged through snow, sleet and rain to design sites for the Boston Public Schools and Harvard. When she's not working, you'll find her drinking coffee, eating cheese and still coloring.
