My boyfriend always says the same thing, but then turns around & says I look hot when I have a full face & dramatic freaking Smokey eye. Get outta here with your crap! I wear makeup because I enjoy the artistry, not because of what he finds appealing. With that said I do try not to wear lipstick, or unnatural shades anyway, when we're together for obvious reasons.

actually my boyfriend kinda likes how i do my makeup. i wear foundation but i never really wear lipstick, and if i do, i usually do a nude or a pinkish color, and i don't really use a lot of blush or bronzer, but i do admit i love my eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. he'll compliment me on if i change up my color of eyeshadow or eyeliner. i'm not offended at all if he would rather see my makeup on than none at all. i feel more myself and way more confident because i love how i do my own makeup. it makes me feel sexy.

my boyfriend hates too much face makeup. if he catches me putting foundation on he'll say "Ew stop!", lipstick is a def no-no.... more natural is more attractive to him. I guess it's a compliment?
He has also learned to hold my hand while walking past beauty stores or makeup departments in the mall.... to keep me from buying up the lot.
However, I've learned to do my makeup to please myself because that's when I feel most confident.

I think it's about what heavy make up really is... cuz to them it seems like heavy makeup is bright colors, glitter, etc... but at the same time u could be using a lot of products that create a natural, neutral look... i've been teased mainly by my dad and brothers for wearing makeup cuz they say the same thing : that they prefer girls without makeup but i do it for myself too. It's another way to express myself and have fun.
