Moschino
MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Dark eyes ruled supreme in Milan, having moments at Gucci, Iceberg, and now Moschino. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux described the look as "Frida Khalo traveling to Mexico, Spain, Santa Fe, and meeting Helmut Newton."
Makeup
To prep models' skin, Tom massaged Care Blends Essential Oil into their skin. He then applied a light layer of MAC Pro Full Coverage Foundation for a flawless finish. Before creating the dark eyes, MAC Pro Longwear Concealer was blended under eyes to perfect the base. MAC Pro Bone Beige Sculpting Powder Pro Palette was blended under the cheekbones to contour.
To start, MAC Smolder Eye Kohl was applied along the waterline and lashline, then diffused with MAC 219 Pencil Brush. MAC Eye Shadow in Carbon was pressed into the lashes and then diffused outwards for a smoked effect. MAC Zoomblack Zoom Lash Mascara was brushed upwards through brows as straight as possible, and at the root of both the upper and lower lashes for extra definition. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer was lightly applied around the edge of the lip, allowing the natural colour to come through.
