Iceberg
MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
"A rock n' roll cool girl," was how makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury described the look at Iceberg. Think of the girl that continues to apply layers of black eye liner and shadow without ever taking it off.
Makeup
Even though the look is cool girl, a cool girl always has a perfect base. Charlotte started with a layer of MAC Select Moisturecover, blending it over hydrated skin where it was needed. MAC Tenderling Powder Blush was blended under cheekbones to contour with a MAC 129 Powder/Blush Brush. She then mixed Luna and Pearl Cream Colour Base together and blended over high planes (the top of your cheekbones near your eyes) to highlight.
The super dark eye was achieved with MAC Smolder Eye Kohl and MAC Pro Black Black Chromagraphic Pencil blended and smudged into both upper and lower lashlines with a MAC 219 Pencil Brush. Charlotte then applied MAC Pro Air Force Blue Cream Colour Base over eyelids with a MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush. On top of that, she layered MAC Pro Gloss Texture and a slick of False Black Mascara to define lashes. Brows were brushed upwards. Lips were simple with a layer of MAC Lip Conditioner SPF 15 and MAC Studio Finish Concealer, which Charlotte lightly patted over lips with her fingers.
