MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Beautiful girls with a golden glow and '80s supermodels was the inspiration for the Blumarine show. The dewy, sun-kissed look was perfect for the extremely bold and playful collection. "It's about the perfect summer color," said makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.
Makeup
Charlotte kept makeup simple, and didn't use too many products. She started with a layer of MAC C4 and C5 Face & Body Foundation to create a honey-toned, sheer finish to the skin. She then applied MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Foundation to bronze the cheeks and temples and topped the cheeks off with a light blending of MAC Pro Shine Mixing in Medium.
Charlotte kept eyes sheer with a light layer of Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Eye Shadow (available Spring/Summer 2012) and applied a single row of MAC 30 Lash through lashes. For that strong '80s brow a sheer layer of color was combed through the brows. MAC Barely There Lip Pencil filled in the lip for a perfectly natural pout.
