Damir Doma
PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
It was a stark collection that walked the runway at Damir Doma. The color palette stuck to white, black, and the occasional yellowish gold in swishy fabrics. The makeup was bare too, with makeup artist Carole Colombani describing the inspiration as a ballet dancer sweating elegantly—meaning a super clean face with the hint of perspiration appearing at the temples.
Makeup
To create the dewy, almost shiny complexion Carole started with Complete Comfort Crème, which she massaged into skin to hydrate. She then applied Select Moisturecover only where needed for a natural finish and buffed Pearl Cream Colour Base over cheekbones with her fingertips and a 224 Tapered Blending Brush. For a dewy sheen she applied MAC Pro Shine Mixing Medium over the Pearl Cream Colour Base. MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was dusted through the center of the face.
Eyes were void of color. Only MAC Pro Shine Mixing Medium was blended over eyelids with curled lashes. Lips were also simple with a swipe of Lip Conditioner SPF 15.
