A rosy-cheeked, English school girl who had yesterdays left over makeup on her face, and perhaps smeared a little extra blush on her cheeks was the inspiration for the look at Paul Smith.
Makeup
To achieve the inner glow that only 15 year old girls seem to have, MAC Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 was applied over skin to hydrate. MAC Face & Body Foundation was applied with a 188 Small Duo Fiber Face Brush to lightly even skin tone and MAC Select Moisturecover was blended over areas only where needed with a 217 Blending Brush. To set the skin, MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder was applied through the center of the face with a 150 Large Shader Brush for a polished effect. MAC Hot N’ Saucy Tendertone Lip Balm was applied with fingers on cheeks for a natural flush.
MAC Pro Shine Mixing Medium was applied over the eyelids with fingers and MAC Ebony Eye Pencil was drawn on directly through the lashes, then smudged and removed with fingers. For rosy lips, Hot N’ Saucy Tendertone Lip Balm was blended over the lips with fingers, as if a young girl was applying everything in a rush.
