Vivienne Westwood Red Label

LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 2012

For Vivienne Westwood Red Label the look was color. Lots and lots of crazy color. Makeup artist Alex Box described the inspiration as neo, neon nymphs and airbrushing, so you can imagine the girls looked wild.

To create the perfect base for all that color, MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation was applied all over the face for full coverage. MAC Pro Sculpt and Shape Bone Beige Sculpting Powders in Pro Palette were blended together and applied over the cheekbones and Well Dressed Powder Blush, MAC Pro Azalea and MAC Pro Salsarose Powder Blushes Pro Palette were blended together to create a vivid contour through the temples and over cheekbones.

As a base, MAC Pro Hi-Def Cyan Paint Stick and Electric Eel Eye Shadow were blended over the eyelid and to create a halo Bitter, Juxt, and Pro Lime Eye Shadows were blended above the first colors. MAC Chromaline in Hi-Def was applied as a liner through both upper and lower lashes. Woo Me Kissable Lipcolour (available Spring/Summer 2012) was blended over the entire lip for a nude finish.
