Beauties, I'm back in Los Angeles after my first week at Beautylish headquarters and my skin is a wreck from all the flying (commuting between NYC-LA-SF is far less glamorous than I thought it would be): dry, dull, and generally cranky. While I've been in San Francisco for the week, I've been using travel size skin care products (cleanser, toner, and moisturizer) that are small enough for my carry on bag, but these skin care products aren't what I usually use on my face, so my complexion is acting up. Keep reading for my secret to glowing skin when you get off the plane.
Whenever I get back home after flying, I have to take a hot bath and put on my Dr. Brandt Detoxygen Experience Oxygenating Facial. This facial mask is unlike anything I've ever tried before. I wash my face with my regular cleanser and while my face is still damp, I apply two pumps of the thick white mask all over my face. A little goes a long way, because once the facial mask is activated by the water on my skin, it starts bubbling up into a fluffy froth. Yes, there are some other "oxygenating" type facial masks out on the market today, but the reason why I love this one is that my skin is so ridiculously soft afterward. By the time I rinse off this facial mask (after a few minutes), my skin has gone from dry and bumpy to silky smooth. After traveling all day and hauling around my luggage, this quick fix is a miracle skin solution. To seal in the softness, there's a secret cream hidden below the facial mask bottle. LOVE!
